What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This is a special one for me. My dad gave this knife to me on my 13th birthday in 1999, and his dad gave it to him on his 13th birthday in 1969. My grandpa definitely carried it a little before he gifted it! I love it's smoothness with spots of jigging showing through.

Exactly what I was thinking! It'd be great to be able to keep the tradition going. No pressure! ;)

Yesterday when maintenance-oiling some blades that had been stored for awhile, I had oiled about 30-40 blades when I came to a lionSTEEL. It felt noticeably more comfortable in hand than all the other previously handled knives. I knew right then that I'd be carrying it today, maybe tomorrow and the next day too. :)
Here's a Shuffler along with the ever present Evogrip 14

I hope you get one soon JJ, my adventure today is going to be taking my empty beer bottles to the re-cycling bin at the end of the street
Eye-catching ebony JJ, two classy carries :)
Thank you very much, Jack!!! It will certainly be nice to get "out and about" again, hopefully soon :D
This is the oldest phone I could find, only about 15 years old I think. I used to send my old phones to a pal in Poland, before he moved to England, and I gave a large bagful of them, mostly still in the box, to a market-trader about a year ago. Kind of regret not hanging onto my old Nokia Brick! :D

Pairing my Hartshead Barlow with a @paulhilborn gifted Ulster BSA Scout, I haven't carried in a while :)

Like that? Im a huge sodbuster fan but I also need some sort of point on my knife, so I clipped this one just enough to add a point but not remove any length from the blade.
Perfect, thanks! Yes, I'm with you on wanting the point. I like clips, too, but I've never tried to do one on a sodbuster. I like to turn the slight drop point into a spear:

Looks great
That’s part of fun of these kind of knives, no fear of grinding the blades and modifying them to better suit individual needs. I just wish I could do something about that ugly orange delrin
