What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carrying the Boker Stockman Jack in 440C again this weekend.

I am carrying this canoe today. Bulldog "purple swirl" covers. I don't anticipate much knife kneed today though, but just having one in my pocket makes my get up complete. The knife looks a lot better than my get up however. :)

Ed,

Please tell me you're dressed in "purple swirl" as well? ;)

Unsurprisingly, this one hasn't been far from my pocket, hands, or mind since it arrived on Monday:

Nice pic P. I imagine you're sleeping with it under your pillow :)

P. Nope no purple swirl in my get up except for the canoe. I do have some more purple swirl though:

VERY nice Mike, and that's a beautiful pic

Jack, I was waiting to see if you'd catch that one. Never thought I'd find a reason to mention the Sticht belay plate in this forum. (I still have my spring loaded version for 9mm and 11mm rope.)

For "Stich" no less. LOL!

LOL! Thanks for posting it Elliott. My very first was the version without the spring, as I was regaled with horror stories by my first climbing partner, about the time he was climbing in the Alps, dropped his Sticht-plate on a belay-ledge, and it promptly boinged off and fell about 5000 feet! :D

One of my working pairs-
Western Boulder Electricians Knife with shrinking scales
Keen Kutter with simulated horn scales and re-profiled tips.
Both have great snap and are very tight and solid.
