What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Meeting the chickadees and receiving their favor, a rite of passage for only the most special of Dan's knives.

That should work well on Wednesday ;)

Grabbed these two Imperial Scouts for my Sunday totes. :)

I always enjoy seeing those two together JJ  :)

Fab photo buddy

Too tired to try catching up... you guys sure keep this thread moving!! :)

Last 4 days away from home(house sitting), I had these two with me.

Got sick for 3 days and never left the house other than for firewood and pellets... only ever carried the pocket hunter.

Hope you're fully recovered now

Sadly, I'm here to report that the garage is not going to clean itself, so, I spend much of Sunday doing just that... but after that, I did get to play a bit. Practiced a bit with my Woodcraft, flint, and steel. And my son caught another lizard (young Western Fence)... which we let go because we have enough.

Just got up and made coffee and as soon as I get my pants on, I'm gonna carry this #93 GEC Ram Foot knife today BUT the highlight of today's carry is the brand new, handmade, custom, fancy dancy, pocket slip made by none other than John JohnDF JohnDF that I'll be carrying it in. This pocket slip features a grommet that I'm thinking will accept a smallish carabiner that I can use to hang the pocket slip and knife from a belt loop.

Thanks John.
Those look great together Ed. Lots of great slips made by JohnDF JohnDF lately, great work John!

I may be the only one but I'm not excited to deal with the time change today, especially with the sun still not up when my work day started.

Carrying my Case medium stockman with punch for the week ahead. Finally got the blades reprofile and it's time to earn some patina.

Also picked up this Cold Steel Lucky One for a good price to see if I enjoy modern traditionals as much. Very light weight and thin blade stock with a decent steel. Completely different character.

I read about getting the blade reprofiled, looked at the picture, and thought, ugh! Why would anyone do that?
Then I realized I was looking at the punch.
