Nice Appaloosa bone on that one Dean.
I'm carrying this Standard Lambfoot today. Jason @Signalprick worked his magic on it by adding custom Snakewood covers and thin red G-10 liners to it. He does great work.

I think Case did a great job with these, I really like mine.

OldHercDude --quick question: which do you gents prefer, the Tribal Lock or Copperlock... I've been eyeing both. Thanks, Tony
No worries, thanks anywaySorry, I only have the Tribal Lock and Mini Copperlock, so I can't compare with the Copperlock.
Hey Tony, I think I’d have to go with the tribal lock if I had to choose between the two. This tribal lock feels so good in hand and may just be luck of the draw but this Tribal lock is the sharpest out of the box out of any traditional I’ve ever owned. Not a deal breaker but it’s a pleasant and welcomed surprise to have it hair popping sharp that can feather stick paper with ease out of the boxTheFactor &

Agreed and I must say because everyone that I’ve received including the last 4 or 5 in a row have rivaled knives 2 or 3 times there price point .Carried this micarta Sowbelly all weekend. It’s pretty much perfect in the F&F department. Another example of what Case can do when they’re on their game.

I really like both but to me, the Tribal Lock wins by a hair. The action is a bit nicer in my experience, and while I really love the clip and wharnie on my large Copperlocks, the spear on the Tribal is just awesome. Ergonomically I also prefer the Tribal Lock. Here are mine.
Cool one! There’s a lot of history with the Okapi (not necessarily good history!) and it sure is an interesting lock. Does your example have the “ratchet” like opening? I bought the Kudu (made by Cold Steel) just to have in my collection. I’d really like to find an authentic South African-made version like yours in that kind of condition.
SnowBelly is a winner winner chicken dinnerThanks so much to you both! OK, back to look at more knives! And the sowbelly has been on my radar too! --Tony
I love that Moose and especially the pocket slip!! Makes a nice woods knife.
