What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

More of the pump plumbing project; this time with the forum knife:

Thanks for the link. I'm giving it time before I do anything, just in case.

The jury's still out. I don't think it'll ever be my favorite pattern, but it's nice to mix things up with a little variety from time to time.

For Thrifty Thursday, I'll carry my newest project: the Barlow you sent me last year.
I'm not sure if I'm finished with it, but I do know I like the uneven coloring of the bone.

Nice work. A unicorn on unicorn ivory?:D

The 66 make a great partner to your wonderful Hartshead Barlow; very cool pairing!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Todays totes are a Stockman from Case and a Gunstock from GEC. :)

Thanks JJ, those are two winners there my friend, very cool Gunstock

I carried my Schrade Cut Co. Barlow on my trail hike today.

Almost Friday!!:eek::cool::p

You've reminded me that I haven't carried my Swayback in a while (the Micra is a daily carry)

I have not been able to spend a huge amount of time on the forums these past couple of weeks and, truth be told, my daily carry has been a bit boring - or rather, it has been consistently the same knife.

However, I decided to switch it up today and I have these two in my pockets.

I hope everyone is keeping well.

Great to see you here Dylan, and with two smashing knives :) Keep an eye out for the mail ;)

Thanks Jack! You look to be well prepared as well :) (LOVE the predator fob)

Thanks GT! Yes, both red, one for go and one for show, so to speak :)

Hopefully the porch isn’t getting tired of pics of this red Farmer X yet, but I am having a lot of fun with it.

The fob was a gift from JohnDF JohnDF , along with the slip of course. I keep meaning to give him a name :D

Looking good Paul :)

Dutch is tricky. It sounds like an English speaker pretending to speak German or a German speaker pretending to speak English.

That's pretty funny--and absolutely right! I'll have to tell my friend, he'll get a kick out of it.

The first time I visited Holland, as a teenager, I accidentally said 'thankyou' in German, and was politely reprimanded, and told, "We do not mind speaking French or English, but even though we understand it, we hate to speak German." Of course, even though they have a similar language, the Dutch laugh at the Belgians, and vice-versa! :D

Carrying my Bagpipe Ebony Lambsfoot today, and an Old Friend kindly gifted to me by @Peregrin :)

Why did the allodemographian throw a clock out the window? He/she/they wanted to see time fly.
Speaking of pronomial choices required on your name tag, can this really be happening again this year?
[Edited to add, yes and no. It's all virtual. ]

That S&M is great :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Mike. Nice looking yellow copperhead you have there yourself.

My S&M Barlow :

I do not have a Maserin Hunter but they do look nice and I had thought about getting the same one you picture . I always liked the way the Checked handle looked

Harry

That's the one I remember, Harry. I like the clip blade on that Barlow.

Time for me to pick my carry for today and head out the door.:)

Thank you, Jack, I did have a great hike. :) I like the look of the bone on your Case Swayback ; does the pile side match?

Choices...
I could flip it for a large profit.
I can put it in a safe and only take it out for pictures.
Or I can pocket it, and use it, and enjoy it as much as possible.
Do you think I made the right decision? ;) :D:thumbsup:

Yes! :D
