OH
Word is out today is your 60th birthday. Happy birthday, Jack!![]()
Thats a fine coffee mug/knife combo to post with your good news, congrats to you and the new Mom.
The knife looks like the perfect companion for around the stable, David. Nice knife and pic.
Another fine looking knife, LT.Love the horse, I haven't had one since I was an 18yr old. I sure would love to own a couple today, plus a pony for the grandkids to ride.
Happy Birthday, Jack. Hope you have an enjoyable one brother.![]()
"So it's true! The evil one eats babies!" (Leela meets the Doctor)
And really, what else would a warrior huntress from a jungle planet wear, but a low-cut leather mini-dress. No need to suspend any disbelief there.
I don’t really have any advice, except to marry someone who is smarter than you are (which in my case was easy.)![]()
Have an enjoyable hike Jack, and happy Birthday.![]()
Thank you, the TC is one of Evan's (Esnyx) early work. What a great looking pair!![]()
Most excellent.Otzi Knife ...
Otzi was said to have lived between 3400 and 3100 BCE. That's like 300yrs but he is also said to have died about age 45, so not sure how he managed that one. Something doesn't add up.
Not sure what I'll use this skinner for this evening. Otzi must have found his quite handy. He carried it over mountains and valleys but I'm not sure about rivers. Could Otzi swim? They prolly didn't have a YMCA back then where you could take swimming lessons.
Otzi's skinning knife was made of flint, not 1075 steel like mine. I know the term has been around for a very long time, so maybe that's where we got "skin flint" from. I'm not sure.

Not a bearSacto , but an animal in nature nonetheless.
And looks fantastic to boot! Its just like carrying a peanut was; a knife that cuts well above its size and weight.
