Any advice for us youngsters old timer? ;) :)
Advice and/or ancient wisdom passed down the generations:

Don't sweat the small stuff. When you come down to it, it's all small stuff. :)

Don't take "life" so seriously. You'll never get out of it alive.

A Wooden nickel is worth less than it cost to make. However, if you have enough of them you can use them for tinder.
(what "kindling" was called when I was a youngling.)

When "life" tosses lemons at you, make sugar free lemonade.

Our ancient ancestors didn't battle their way to the top of the food chain so we can be vegans or vegetarians.

There's a place for all the wild life of the earth. Next to the taters, gravy, and hot buttered brussel sprouts is one of them.

I'm continuing carrying a case stockman today. I hope everyone has a good one. I dropped an AR last night and broke my second toe on my right foot so I am moving slowly today. They are enjoying poking fun at me in the office!

Ouch :(
What's an "AR"?

So there I am cutting up an apple with the slim trapper. A task its well suited for given its longish, thin blade. This one's pretty sharp too. So the apple slicing was going along great when I thought, "I wonder how well that 35 appaloosa I was stropping last night would do? Lets see what kind of edge I put on it." I just took up stropping and am still learning the art.

Anyway it sliced through the apple much easier and faster than I was expecting

On a good note, I apparently did a pretty good job with the strop :)
On a bad note, the bigger bandage I have on now is making typing a less precise endeavor o_O

Well, dang!
I am purposely NOT passing on my “wisdom” on how not to cut things.
You’re welcome:D
