What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Glad you can start getting out a about a bit. I'm sure it is much needed.

Good luck. I need to make some time to do the same. You'll have to tell us how you do.

I'm back home from the mountains and back to work now. I'm carrying this one again today:

Advice and/or ancient wisdom passed down the generations:

Don't sweat the small stuff. When you come down to it, it's all small stuff. :)

Don't take "life" so seriously. You'll never get out of it alive.

A Wooden nickel is worth less than it cost to make. However, if you have enough of them you can use them for kindling.

When "life" tosses lemons at you, make sugar free lemonade.

Our ancient ancestors didn't battle their way to the top of the food chain so we can be vegans or vegetarians.

There's a place for all the wild life of the earth. Next to the taters, gravy, and hot buttered brussel sprouts is one of them.

Happy belated birthday Jack Black Jack Black ! Sweet stag on that barlow btw.

My Alox Knife of the Week is a Vic Farmer (thanks, Tom):

non-Alox SAK of the Week is a Tinker:

International Knife of the Week is a Laguiole caza, or hunting Laguiole (a 2017 birthday gift from my daughter):
lag.mark.open.jpg

Bailed non-SAK of the Week was an empty spot in my rotation schedule this week that I had hoped to fill with an appropriate new knife. Haven't found a good one to put in that rotation spot yet, so I'll just carry next week's scheduled knife this week, too, since I like it a lot. It's a Camillus electrician I picked up at the first gun & knife show I ever attended:

Great picture !

Thanks! My report is that all I had was a good time - no fish today but did take a new picture of the knife to use next time I carry it (that is some success!)

Nice Jeff, very nice! Love the Craftsman Whittler.

Beautiful Case goodness!

OH
Thanks, Steve and Bruce!
Ditto on the nice jigged Case redbones, too.
Bruce, your EC Simmons is great.

Gary, I could toss out everything else but a good TL-29, and get along just fine.

Good group, Gary. You got that Camillus electrician at your first gun & knife show; that was good luck and a good knife!
