What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Heading over to Lakeview, Oregon and the Ford Dealer today for an oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and air filter change along with tire rotation and tire balance. I used to do the oil and all the filter changes myself but I'm too decrepit to crawl under the truck and Expedition anymore. Anyway, there's a nice Mexican Restaurant over there so lunch should be a treat. Along with a couple other knives, I'm totin this GEC Ram Foot with me.

Looks like you’re well prepared, great knife and mod! ;) My wife and I love Mexican food and Margaritas of course, probably our favorite. Have a great day and drive carefully my friend!

Today’s come along, Solingen Shapleigh.

Very nice! ;)

Headwinds, I went back and reread my reply to your “opening day” post, and I could probably get away without admitting this but I thought you were talking about opening day of trout season!:D:D:D I guess you can tell where my head is. I even pulled this one to carry today to play along!;)

looking back at your picture, I have no idea how I could’ve mistaken it for some type of fish knife!:D If I don’t get to go trout fishing soon I’m going to lose my mind.;)
Thanks !! No blade play or anything and one my best f/f numbers!
I’ll tell ya Todd, missing our annual ice and steel head fishing this year:mad: Hopefully these shut downs are a thing of the past next season:D

Actually, I remember thinking it looked a bit like a fish knife when I posted it.:) By the way, that’s a really nice "fish knife" you have there. Colonial?

Me too. The closest place for me to go is the MO trout parks, not exactly a wilderness fishing, but still fun. Last season you could fish but none of the buildings were open. Although, if you’ve ever been to one of these parks, especially Bennett Spring on a summer weekend, you know that trying to maintain six feet of social distance can be a challenge! :D Hopefully they are open this year, breakfast and dinner at the lodge in Bennett is part of the experience.

Yep, it’s got proud back springs but I picked it up mostly to display with my other fish themed knives, not really as a user.

This bandit last summer was a bit mischievous :D , tore a small hole on the side of the small tent we use for food.
However he redeemed himself nicely by posing for a couple pics with my African Rosewood lamb

So to honor the memory I'll carry my rosewood lamb today  :D
