What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This bandit last summer was a bit mischievous :D , tore a small hole on the side of the small tent we use for food.
However he redeemed himself nicely by posing for a couple pics with my African Rosewood lamb

So to honor the memory I'll carry my rosewood lamb today  :D

Opening Day...
Reminds me of Vince @Prester John. Hope he comes back some day.

Thanks buddy, I understand Vince will be back soon :)

Giving the Barlow the day off today...

Another great pairing :)

Ace pic

Thank you very much, Jack!!! I recall a piece on that wood burning, but never knew how dangerous it could be!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah, apparently!

Your camel bone recover just keeps looking better and better; I'm a huge fan of the 44 gunstock, as well!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Going thrifty today with these two Imperial/Hammer Brands from the thirties. :)

Thanks JJ, those two are prefect Thrifty Thursday carries  :)

I don't remember seeing that copper Böker Plus before, Jack; that's a very appealing knife!:thumbsup::thumbsup: I did some superficial searching and it looks like it may not be available at US dealers.

It's a Boker Plus Atlas Gary :) I picked it up just recently while looking for another copper-handled knife, which was out of stock. I've had other knives from the same series, and like the Drop-point blade. It was very inexpensive, and I'm really pleased with it. I hope it's available there soon :)

I hope you had Happy Hiking, Jack! I'll bet none of the fellow travelers you met had a pair of knives that could hold a candle to yours!:thumbsup::cool:

Thank you my friend, maybe I should have waved the cleaver around more! ;)

The tortoise on the #86 goes pretty well with some lava, ehh?

This is the second eruption I've witnessed, a truly amazing experience.
Sorry for the bonus pic, gents.

WOW!!

Good Friday is a holiday here, but with the country still in a form of 'lockdown', travel restricted, and the pubs closed, it's not much of a holiday o_O Still, I dare say, I can find a pal or two to drink some beer with me in my garden, weather permitting ;) Carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and an Old Friend :) Have a Good Friday folks ;)

Although Tuesday’s a mere memory, why not some triple-trapper:D
A great day to all!
Thanks for the Camillus comment, Gus. :)
Wow, when you carry that trapper, you've got a pocketful of pit bulls!:cool::cool:

Winning pair with mucho flair, John!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Gary, I could toss out everything else but a good TL-29, and get along just fine.
...
Good group, Gary. You got that Camillus electrician at your first gun & knife show; that was good luck and a good knife!
Thanks, Jeff & Dean, I can agree with you. :) I'm a spearpoint fan at heart, I like having an extra tool like a screwdriver, I like the bail so I can hang the knife with my keys, and I think the black/silver Camillus looks really good while working hard (kind of like being able to pull off cleaning out the calf pens while wearing a tuxedo ).

I'm carrying my Case Mini Copperlock in Curly Maple wood today.

Splendid knife and sensational photo, Dean!:cool::cool:

One of my favourite SAKs :)
Thanks, Jack. :) I think you have good taste!:D

Toting these two wood covered clip jacks today. :)
Your "struck by lightning" knife reminds me of the movie The Natural and the "magical" baseball bat carved from a lightning-split tree!:thumbsup::cool:

I’m not a huge case guy, but when I do it has to be CV in jigged chestnut.Happy Wharncliffe Wednesday Y’all
Outstanding chestnut jigged bone trio!:thumbsup::cool:

Handsome sleeveboard!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (Cool popsicle-stick box, too; gift from a kid? I made a "jewelry box" like that one for my mom over 60 years ago.)

As usual, I've been carrying a couple of canoes and a couple of stockman patterns since the weekly "change of carries" on Monday.
I think this inexpensive burl wood Remington canoe looks really good:

Also enjoying this classic Case amber bone canoe:

The stockman knives are also both Case models this week, a sowbelly and a 6347:

Lots of Case goodness in that post - lots to like! OH

Belated congrats to you and yours on the arrival of a new boy!:):thumbsup: Have you picked out a knife to give him in a few years?
Thanks Gary! I thought a bit about what knives would go to my kids when they're old enough (and show an interest). Most likely they'd get a SAK of some sort or one that they remember seeing me carry. As it is now, my daughter loves anything red, so a SAK works out. Of course it would be more fun to find something new and carry it for them in the meantime. Lately I've been interested in swaybacks/lambsfoot, or dogleg jacks, or gunstocks, or barlows, or.......

Doesn't get much more "classic" than that.:thumbsup:

That's an absolute beauty, GT.:thumbsup:

Another great pairing
Thank you, Jack. :)

Hope your pubs open soon, Jack.:thumbsup:
In the mean time, it's nice to have friends to hang out with, in your garden and on our Porch.:thumbsup:

Winning pair with mucho flair,
Thank you, GT. :)

A solid looking Lamb, Jeff.:thumbsup:
