Thank you very much Jake . Good to see you around more than you were for a little while my friend .
Harry

Ive been collecting other knives over the last year or so and have been posting in other areas of the forum but don’t you worry, my heart is still with traditional knives!

I’ve been carrying this Panama Trapper a lot lately. I love me some multi-blades!

Always like to see your Dowell Trapper Jake . What is the Length Closed and Blade Length on it , if I might ask ????

We love this time of the year for walking. The tree canopy is still open and the sun shines down on the white trillium flowers ( the symbol for Ontario) in full bloom. Once the tops get green and full the flowers are mostly gone and the bugs and mosquitoes come in.

A red trillium, not as common ( I found out that the red ones pollinate by attracting flies by emitting what's described as a rotten meat or wet dog odor )

Nice looking sodbuster Jr. Always enjoy your photos.:) Have you been feeding the birds lately?

Carried these 2 yesterday and this morning : Both 3 Bladed Whittlers /// Stag is Cripple Creek and the GEC 38 English Whittler or Wharncliffe Whittler

And after lunch today I had to carry some work knives to get something done .

Harry
Fantastic whittlers Harry! I imagine those two work knives will handle just about anything!;)

Last one of MANSON's knife
Cleaned (someone had pretty much already crudely cleaned the patina off), smartly sharpened, preserved ...
From abuse and neglect, the MANSON SHEFFIELD rises, able and ready to do work again
A worn and scarred old warrior. Boy what a Bowie.
150+yrs to get to right about ... here ...

Not my Bowie or one like I have. Well, steel is similar I guess.
His looks to me to be a Wostenholm or Manhattan. If not, they copied it maybe.
But is it really a Sheffield Bowie? ... wouldn't be shocked to learn it's a Sheffield Dagger.
Just an interesting picture ... and maybe one day I'll ask him
