That really is beautiful, Todd. 🤠

If I'm honest, darn near, if not perfect Todd. The only thing I'd change is to not have the half stop on the blade but that's my preference on all knives.
Although...., the Micarta handled ones look even more perfect to me. :)
Yeah, they are great knives and very well done. I have the Castle Burg on order, and if the ironwood had carbon steel I’d already have it. I’m sure I will pick it up sometime to complete the set. 😉

Indeed Todd... that’s some dreamy bone there
Thanks guys! I have a 62 in the same goldenrod camel that is my other option for a fancy carry but this one is prettier! 😎

Thanks! Sorry to hear you didn’t get an acceptable one. Are you going to try again?
I’ll probably let it pass. It’s a great knife. I liked it, but it wasn’t love at first sight. I’m having trouble finding the Micarta knife that will stick in my small collection of users. I’ve had several Micartas come and go, but nothing has got me in my feels. Had a dynamite Northwoods Heritage Jack in OD, but cut one apple and discovered the woes of saber ground edge geometry The burlap 74 came close but the execution on the shield inlay was wonky on mine, so I sent it down the road. Thought the 85 cap lifter was going to be the jam, but couldn’t get used to the bottle shield.
I’ll just enjoy gawking at the photos here and call it good!
McD’s bowling with TC. Quite nice...

Thank you sir, we enjoyed celebrating my oldest boy’s 11th birthday. He rolled a 78, dad put in the 178. Still got a turkey up my sleeve when I need to show the youngsters how it’s done 😂.

Have a great evening!

I carried this delrin Schrade today.

Edit: I’m still getting used to this new software. Every so often when I click to insert the picture, the picture shows up, disappears, and it posts the message without the picture and without me clicking “post reply”. Then I have to edit the post and add the picture.

Thank you, and thanks for the storage offer, but we just rented a storage unit at the marina. My wife thinks it’s for the boat until we get the dock finished, but it’s really for my knives!😉😂

Great pair John!👍

I’m really liking mine. It does seem like that are doing more Micarta, which is just fine with me!👍

Beautiful and very creative photo!😎👍

Thanks Gary! I know, the view goes away pretty quickly. During the summer I like to have my coffee down on the dock, should be great for pictures!😉👍

Oh man, the dorm room thing is funny! My daughter would accuse me of the same thing!😂
Thanks. 😎

Wow! 😳Great catch! 👍 Is that a dry fly?
- apologies for the late response.

Yes, the Grey Wolf is a dry fly predominantly.

There’d just been a Mayfly hatch and this Grey Wolf is a good imitator. It needs some dry fly dressing on it to keep it on the surface after it keeps getting wet, but once sorted, even after it flows downstream and swirls around on the line it keeps uptop

At one point the current dragged the line and fly under and I watch a Brownie take it with gaping mouth just below the surface.

The trout fed well that day, by late afternoon they all appeared sated - no evening rise - but we’d had a great day
