Fantastic knife!!! 🤠:thumbsup:
The shape, the stag, the blades... all so cool.

Thanks, GT. I prefer a slender clip over a standard clip.
I think a poll on clip blade preference would be interesting. :cool: :thumbsup:

Splendid stag pair, JosƩ! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: One for each hand.;)

Got this a few days ago and carrying it ever since.

Congrats on getting one of those! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: (Is the CD a subtle reference to r8shell r8shell 's infamous April Fools post involving this knife?;))

Have a great week everyone. This one for Micarta Monday, TC Tuesday, Waynorth Wednesday :)

You're an efficient guy, Tim - one knife, three days! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I had to go back to the office again for the first time in 15 months. I ended up with an Alox in my pocket today. I need to start revisiting traditionals again!
Always good advice, IMHO, and Alox is always a good choice! :thumbsup::D:thumbsup: Was it strange to be back to your office, or kind of nice?

Classy Case yellow pen went with me to the Doc's for my annual.

Hope the check-up went well; wonderful knife! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Lately, several members have been posting their Case medium jacks, and almost convincing me that I should get one. But then I remember that I have my yeller CV penknife, and the appeal of the jacks diminishes significantly! :rolleyes:

Gorgeous stag on your RR Trapper, Gary. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I'm carrying my new Case Trapper for Micarta Monday again.

Thanks for the encouragement, Dean. :)
Lots of folks seem quite pleased with those trappers like yours! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Grabbed these two redbone jacks as I flew out the door this morning. :)
That pair must have been a big hit with Leon Redbone, JJ! :D:cool::cool:

This lil guy.
That's a beauty, Taylor! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Love the faux stag on your Bƶker, Todd! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

GEC 71 Bullnose in denim micarta

Dynamite denim! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Carrying one of my Lambsfoot SFOs, and a Random Tuesday Speaker Jack :) :thumbsup:

Your AC and that ebony congress make a top-echelon pair, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Gary. Yes it is similar, The Wrangler has a Turkish Clip and this one the Standard Clip. Both similar in size (Medium Stockman frame) with the Wrangler being longer. Both worthy EDC pocketknives. I’ve been visiting the fellows website where I got this 34OT mod, hoping to see another! OH
Thanks for the detailed comparison, Bruce. :thumbsup::)

Staying home with a sick daughter today. These two will help morale...

Phenomenal pair! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Whose morale is helped more, hers or yours?;)

Thank you, GT. :)
I enjoyed the Harry Potter reference.

Sparrow, played by Pat Brady.
I love watching the shows again, even my wife has joined the fun.
It really drives home the message of that time, "Do the right thing, and everything will work out".
...
Thanks for the info, John; "Sparrow" is a name that has completely disappeared from my memory! o_O
When I was a kid, probably under 10 years old, there used to be quite a line-up of Saturday morning TV shows we watched (at least during the winter): cartoons like Mighty Mouse and Underdog, and Westerns like Roy Rogers, Sky King, and The Lone Ranger.

That is NOT a shrine to the tree rats! What I really need is a a tree rat head on a pike to ward them off. ...
It's a battle, Jeff - survival of the fittest! :thumbsup::D

... They are mostly Angus cattle. ...

Thanks for the info about your cattle; some interesting "signs" of your cross-breeding! :cool::cool::thumbsup: I should have remembered Herefords as a beef breed!:rolleyes:

Patriotic thoughts as we head into Memorial Day….

Thanks for the reminder; I like the red/white/blue choices! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Oh. Were we talking about knives? #23 Oregon Trapper which nails both Trapper Tuesday, and Tidiute Tuesday.
And a Camillus TL-29 I rehandled in cow bone.
I enjoyed reading about the flowers that have moved around the country with you and your kin, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Did you do your own jigging and dyeing of the bone on the TL-29?

Starting off today with my Chestnut CV peanut. What better way to start a patina on a peanut than to cut cup cherry tomatoes for a small tortoise. šŸ˜„

Cool photo, Todd! :cool::thumbsup::cool: Those chestnut jigged bone carbon steel Case knives are some of my favorites. There have been some very attractive photos of Peanuts like yours posted here over the years, some with incredibly appealing patinas, and pocket wear on the bone.

Four good 'uns Gary :) I always have an Electrician in my bag :) I like anchors too :) :thumbsup:
Thanks for your daily support, Jack. :)
I'm always debating with myself whether the Electrician or the Farmer is my favorite Alox model. Today, I'm favoring the 2 cutting blades of the Electrician (tomorrow, my preference may change :rolleyes:).

...
A nice group of knives again today, Gary. I like the nautical theme.

I see you are a Vonnegut fan; I read Slaughtehouse-Five many years ago and then proceeded to read every one of his books I could get my hands on. I may read some of them again sometime. :thumbsup: :D
...
I was thinking the same about GT's Vonnegut collection :) I should also start re-reading, most of the Vonnegut I read was in my late teens! :D...
Thanks, Dean & Jack. :)
I first read Vonnegut probably 50 years ago; I went through a period during which I'd get most of my books from a used book store that allowed trading one of my books for one of theirs, so many of the Vonnegut novels I read were traded in for others, and the ones in my photo are the only ones I have left. I re-read Player Piano (his first novel, I think) last summer, and that was the first Vonnegut I'd read in decades. I probably haven't read anything he wrote after 1980. IIRC, God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater was one of my favorites.

The wayward #69 I found in a recliner.

That's a fortuitous find, a really superb stockman! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

...
Two anchors in your pocket... hope you have your braces on. ;)
Always wear my suspenders, but maybe I should have the 2" wide ones instead of the 1.5" wide with the double-anchor load! ;)

Thanks Gary, it's the star stump šŸ˜€
...
:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The matching bone on that pair is excellent, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

An awesome choice for the week, Gary.:thumbsup::thumbsup::)
Thanks, JosƩ. :)

This just dropped, as some of you know...
A Queenish build with a touch of character...

Thanks Gary, I really like that older Boker it reminds me of The Thing on the Marvel comics, I have a small Jack with the same covers. I’ve named this one ā€œBig Thingā€ and the other is ā€œLittle Thingā€. 😊
I love that little peanut and the entire Chestnut CV line as well. šŸ‘
