I decided it was time for a switch so I put the brown delrin pen in the knife box but I really couldn't decide and was gonna go back to it, 1:30 am and I was pretty tired and picked up the slimline trapper instead so I just went with it.
Those slimline trappers are nice knives!

A wonderful weeks worth to work with, Gary!!

Happy Monday and deepfull respectful Memorial Day, especially for you Gold Star parrents, wives, husbands children and everyone who has lost someone who has gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Thanks, Dennis, and thanks for the fine Memorial Day sentiments!
Outstanding pair of knives you posted; the Case pen knife (what model is that?) really grabbed my attention!
Handsome knife, and I enjoy your fence post photos!
Yup, three springs. When I first saw that from somebody, I thought they were lazy slobs, but I like it now. Why not have straight blades?
I still don't have the sowbelly. They're never on sale. Maybe too classy for the likes of me.
Some flows are easy to go with.
You should get a Marbles or Rough Rider sowbelly stockman for relatively little money just to feel the curvature!
It is indeed programmable - 99 steps, I believe. I don’t have the skills to write a program like that, especially with just 99 steps, but a few people have done just that and posted them in calculator forums. The problem is that they run VERY slowly. It is a 1984 calculator after all…
Hadn't considered the speed of running the program, but that makes sense. I once had a Radio Shack Color Computer, and tried to learn assembly language to enable graphics-intense programs I wanted to write to run faster, but I never got very adept at it.
Thanks for all the kind responses Gary.

Did a little looking around and found this...right up my alley!

That's a cool Taramundi, Todd! I've seen plenty with "abstract geometric designs" on the handle, but I hadn't seen any with actual "pictures of real things".
I get a hankerin' every now and then... nothing like the day I carried ten knives just to show my boys I could carry them all comfortably.
That sounds like a memorable day! Can you still remember what got carried where?
Thanks for the entertaining replies, Jack!
Back to work today, and keeping it simple with a single blade 15.
Simple, but stunning!
That's a trio of desirable folders right there!
Great knife!
I always had one of those in my pocket back in high school.
Thanks, John, it's definitely a classic stockman!
Saw Jack's (
@Jack Black ) cool Robeson HJ causing me to grab one from GEC, throwing in an American Jack, to start the month.
That 78 is sure a splendid jack, JJ!
Love the beautiful dark rich color on the RR canoe Gary!

...
Thanks, Todd.
It was...
it's now kind of a lambsfoot..
This was the last edition in my long search for a grail knife( 3-5/8" serpentine frame, 2 blades, clip and sheepsfoot, @ opposite ends. ) So far this is indeed the grail itself and the search is over.
I thought that blade looked kind of short in your original photo; that's a nice muskrat mod! Did you ever see Rough Rider's Improved Muskrat with clip and Wharncliffe (I think)?
Four handsome totes GT
I appreciate your assessment, Jack!
A couple of Schade's today
Yowza! That is a stunning pair of vintage knives, Steve!!
Thank you, José!
Thanks for the supportive comments, Dean!
Almost EVERY pattern tempts me, but I can resist the temptation more easily for some than for others!
I've been carrying this Case Teardrop all day: Chestnut bone and CV steel.

Great photo of a beautiful teardrop, Dean!
Got my daughter packed up, had some lunch downtown at the patio, and then played some golf with my wife. Had the Jack in my pocket again.

Notice there are no golf balls in the picture...that’s because they’re all in the pond and woods!

That Texas Jack seems to have real staying power for you, Todd!
...
I'm really liking those RR Canoes Gary, especially the smoothe bone!

I'll have to break down and try one soon!
...
Today was lil' Lamb and a Case Trapper.
Thanks, Dennis; I sure do like the canoe pattern, and recommend that you give one a try!
Fine stag and horn on your knives in this post!
