Yesterday I went inland to the farm for a bit of bass fishing and to shoot a couple of rifles. Nice warm day, had my Craftsman Jackknife in my pocket. OH

the fishing was fine, I fished an hour and a piece early on and hooked two bass (one released by me and one released by herself!) Most of the morning was set aside to test a reload and see if an ancient scope mounted on another rifle would track (it did). OH

The stockman is a Camillus, a #66, I think. The original scales were an ugly synthetic, and had shrunk enough that nobody else wanted to bid on it.
