TEASE! :D

Enjoy your beer Kris :) Glad you're feeling better ;)

RSMITH_77, You can't do better than the Buck 309 "companion", for a pen knife. Been carryin mine since 1977. regards ry

yeah the 309 has been quietly waiting its chance
i went to bigger knives when i started in the warehouse
but i tried her out again and she has been quietly and competently doing what needs to be done

the steel is harder to sharpen than the case cv or gec 1095 and it doesnt retain an edge as well as either
but the point is a wonder to use and it gets sharp enough...

the small size is nice though and i am not really all that bothered with bigger knives :p

Uh-Oh, one of my weaknesses, a wharncliffe mini trapper. And single blade at that. With amber bone scales!! Is it CV, too?

Beautiful!!

I'm carrying that same little tiny trapper from Paul. I don't have a better photo of it, so I'm not posting the old picture again today.

Im already in love. I received my case trapper cv in yellow delrin this week and you couldnt force it out of my pocket.

Is it perfect?.......nope Do i care?........nope
I now understand the love for traditional folders and am really glad i gave them a try.

Welcome to the traditionals subforum. Glad to have you stop in and show us your trapper. It's a very popular pattern and in delrin and CV fairly affordable. It's usefulness should prove to be out of proportion to the price.

Nathan, what did you overdye that with?

Ed J

Hello,
I used Rit liquid dye and soaked it twice. One part scarlet and three parts black. Here is a pic of the back side. The bone is quite different......
