I decided on my old friend today; it feels so strange carrying a small knife again....I am also learning that the color red seems to have been growing on me more than I thought!
I am not sure if I am just seeing things or not, but the bone seems a tad worn down from when I first got it.

I love the great looking ebony on your 53! I have not yet tried the 54/53 patterns, but the are definitely knives that I admire and have been considering picking up. I like the Big Jacks and the Harness Jack. The Moose as well!

I really like the size of these 66s. Fits great in my watch pocket. Your 66 calf roper is a stunning example of almost all black ebony wood! I much prefer the all black or near all black ebony pieces. Very nice knife ED! :thumbup:

I'm carrying the Boy's knife again today along with a Tiny Trapper Paul Bosley sent me from his give away.

Ed, I think there might be another left in stock. I hope GEC will release this pattern again but with mostly all black ebony wood. I like your knifebrite boy's knife! I bet it would be great for camping. I have the TC barlow version of that pattern and have been loving it all week. I kind of feel bad bumping it out of the pocket earlier this afternoon for my new 66 jack lol.

Haha! It was the opposite for me today. The ebony 66 Jack had my Antique Yellow TC Barlow Jack out of my pocket. I felt a little guilty, but they are both worthy of my pockets. I might have to carry them both tomorrow. You have good taste :thumbup:
