Thanks. It's a cool little knife that actually feels good in hand.I like that one, a little different and very cool!
Two nice ones there John. I kinda like the shield, but I agree, an end cap would be really nice.
Wow, those two look great together, nice pairing Jon. The 83 does have a lot of blade for such a small knife.![]()
I couldn’t decide between the two, so I went with both today. The little Arc slip turns out is perfect for this problem.
Captivating couple of simple old knives, José!
That's a charmer, Dean; the lined bolsters and "burnt amber bone" are an attractive combo!
Your knife has more charisma when you have to wait a few decades to get it to look like that, Bruce!!I was also wondering about that blade finish, new one from Case as far as I know. Both are looking pretty fine, especially for new knives. Interestingly enough I had pulled out one to carry over on our beach walk this afternoon that has arrived at about the same finish (over the last 45 years). OH
Ps. Guess I should have attached the picture!

Glad you're still getting some use from that camo Classic, HnS, and your half whittler gets more classy all the time!
Pair of champions there, Greg!...
Carried this yellow bone Moose & ebony Whittler today, (recycled pic).

That regal Queen is long and lean, Gus; congrats!Although not going fishing today, steelhead season is over for now and picks up again in late fall. I can wait… really! A little impatiently perhaps, yet comfortable with the company I’ll be keeping. Cal -tongueriver, was kind enough to part with this Queen and a couple of others. Honestly worn character throughout these examples delivered. I can’t thank him enough!!!

Yeah, but then it wouldn’t be a barehead.
This is why God gave us the TL-29!Putting up some fans and light fixtures on the dock and bar today. Guess who’s helping!View attachment 1592097
Sometimes that's what it takes.it was a total accident.
Yes, exactly.Yeah, but then it wouldn’t be a barehead.
Totally agree, I always think of the pivot as the head also. Barebutt IS weird, but I like it, it’s hilarious.Yeah, but then it wouldn’t be a barehead.
Which I think should really be called barebutt because I consider the pivot end to be the head. I guess barebutt sounds a bit weird, though.
I knew somebody would call me out on that, thanks a lot Jeff! This is why God gave us the TL-29!
By the way, my Case jack is jealous of the bone on yours...
