What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'll get a plumber out here as soon as my home warranty company gets me off "hold"
I keep telling my wife that I shouldn't be allowed to work on anything by myself, I always turn it into a much bigger problem. 🤪
Been there, my friend!
A plumber is totally unnecessary John JohnDF JohnDF JohnDF JohnDF !!!!! All you have to do is attach the thing-a-magig on the left to the do-hickey on the right and trim the black wire with the white stripe back about six-inches and wallah - problem solved.
No no, Ed! It's the thing-a-mabob!
I wish it was that easy.
I have a broken gate valve.
I would have to cut the pipes and weld new attachments.
I called a plumber. ;)
Good luck John!

Nontron Violin matt finish slip joint 4 1/8" closed
Château Poulvère and the Coutellerie Nontronnaise combined to create this pocket knife
The barrel oak handle. from oak barrels that had been used to store the wines of Château Poulvère
The handle looks rough in the picture but is as smooth as can be with no splinters or catches. Just rugged oak
EDIT: Can't really recommend this knife. Better built ones can be had for about half the price of this effort
Guess I just look at as a premium novelty. But hey, it is a sharp (after a touch-up) working knife
Maybe Nontron should just stick with friction folders for now

Not sure if this is the right place to ask a question. We have been enjoying the Escape to the Chateaux series with Dick and Angel Strawbridge, on several occasions I see Dick use a pocket knife in the garden to cut some plants. Looks like a sheep’s foot knife, maybe one with a broken blade. Anyone know what It could be? could it be made in the United Kingdom or would he go with a French knife? Hope someone has an idea of what it is, maybe from one of his other shows?

Pretty pair!! They don't sell Lambsfoots (that doesn't sound right)...Lambsfeet? Lambsfooties? Lambsfoot Knives... in the US, do they?

Thank you kindly!!!
I have yet to find a seller of the Lambsfoot pattern in the US ( Jack Black Jack Black would know the plural, if there is one :)). Waynorth was the only US made SFO that I know of and it was gone faster than GEC could make them. It's definitely my "new favorite" pattern! :)
