What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

One for French Friend Friday! If my grandkids were here today, I'd have them say that 5 times fast, and laugh like heck while they did it!
TGIF folks!

There is no nail nick.
Hold the knife upside down, press the blade in, and it springs out.
To close it, you have to hold it right side up, and then press the blade in.
There is some kind of catch mechanism inside that only releases when it's tilted a certain way.

Yes, the cap lifter is in the tang... not sure I'd use it though, it's pretty small.
(edit) turns out it's NOT a cap lifter... see Jack's reply below.

That’s pretty cool. 👍 I’ve never heard of one of those before.

I can only speak for myself, but I LOVE seeing knives that get carried every day. It's always nice seeing a shiny new blade, but much more interesting to me are the knives that are constantly getting used. I've grown to have quite a crush on bigfish's Texas Jack. It very much reminds me of @arizonaranchman and his Case 6375 that he documented in this thread: #6375 Case Large Stockman.
Thanks for the kind words Cory! 😎👍
Great barlow Jax! 😎👍

I’m sure there’s something more menacing in the rollator in case they mess up your dessert
Well ... I do have a flat band slingshot, 20 or so marbles, and maybe forty or fifty 9mm/.38 steel balls in the shopping/tote bag ... :)

By the way ... does anyone know where they put that scout/camp knife thread?
I can't find it. :(
