What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yes, it looks very interesting but potentially hazardous! 😲 ;) :thumbsup:
Potentially LETHAL apparently! :eek: :thumbsup:

Thanks, GT. I'm with you, I'm happy to catch anything, even a tiny bass.
:thumbsup: :)

I carried my soda scout with my trusty Moore Maker fence pliers, fixing a little fence today.

Nice pair of tools! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Growing up on a dairy farm, I used fence pliers more than any tool except probably hammer, Crescent wrench, grease gun, and scout knife. Now I don't even own a pair of fence pliers.

A special single blade Trapper ( JohnDF JohnDF 🤠👍), and a SFO Ironwood Lambsfoot.

Triangulating on knife perfection, Dennis! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thought I'd join the Case carnival by adding this Barlow to my @waynorth Lambsfoot :) I'm sure Charlie won't object ;) :) :thumbsup:

Putting up some fans and light fixtures on the dock and bar today. Guess who’s helping! 😄View attachment 1592097
Who'd a thunk it, Todd? ;)😁:thumbsup:

Many thanks Gary, those are excellent photos :) Three very nice knives too :cool: :thumbsup:
I appreciate your kind remarks, Jack. :)

Those mini canoes are really fun little knives. 👍

😉👍 It’s looking good Gary!
Thanks, Todd. :)

Nice Old Timer, GT. 🤠:thumbsup:
I thought you'd approve of that 33OT, John (but I think you're biased, right?). :)

Classy black pair, José! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

The 33ot is a great pocket knife :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Mike. :)

I'll get a plumber out here as soon as my home warranty company gets me off "hold" :mad: :thumbsdown:
I keep telling my wife that I shouldn't be allowed to work on anything by myself, I always turn it into a much bigger problem. 🤪
I can relate, John. Almost all of my plumbing projects/repairs in the past took about 3 times as long as I thought they would and often required at least 2 trips to the hardware store. And far too often, I'd end up having to call in a "pro" anyway. So now I just go straight to calling the plumber. Couple of weeks ago, my wife broke a faucet off the outside of the house and the fix required less than $20 in parts, but almost $200 for "house call" and 1.25 hours labor. 😲:eek:

That folded blade is indeed a fish scaler Gary, thank you as always!!

Today’s finally a cooler one here, the good ‘ole Hockey game’s on later and this one always brightens up any moment really.
The Cuban 53, with a pile shot as well….

Thanks for the additional info, Gus. :thumbsup:
That Yellow Rose is a stunner! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
How did you manage to smuggle that one out of Texas?? 😁

I changed my mind about the Fiskars and forgot the kudu.

That curved Barlow is a handsome knife! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Good wood, Steve! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
What's the bottom knife? Very attractive grain on that one!

Thank you, Gary. Two gorgeous RRs and a classic OT jack. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :)
Thanks for noticing, Dean. :)

Received my first Lamb in Rosewood late yesterday and threw it immediately in my pocket this morning; added the distant cousin when I returned. :)
Congrats on the lambsfoot, JJ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Boker ironwood Club knife and Klaas stag whittler. :)

Terrific Teutonic twosome, Greg! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Not sure if this is the right place to ask a question. We have been enjoying the Escape to the Chateaux series with Dick and Angel Strawbridge, on several occasions I see Dick use a pocket knife in the garden to cut some plants. Looks like a sheep’s foot knife, maybe one with a broken blade. Anyone know what It could be? could it be made in the United Kingdom or would he go with a French knife? Hope someone has an idea of what it is, maybe from one of his other shows?
You might have better luck getting an answer if you pose your question in the "Traditional Knives in Movies" thread:

GT sweet Boker!
Thanks. :)

Nice and kool here finally today, a break from that krazy heat is always a treat.
Thursday’s carry, maybe tomorrow as well…
After all it’s Canada 🍁 day !

A pleasant and wunderful day to all :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
Belated Canada Day greetings to our members across the border in the Great White North! :):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I enjoy and appreciate your kind comments as well as the effort to manipulate the multile quotes!
About that Boker... the ONLY other Boker in my knife drawer, before John sent me the single blade jack, was a 9229 electrician ~ ungelded like yours. Mine, however, has “woodgrain” delrin, instead of the sawcut.
I think the sawcut looks much better, and that sure makes for a slim but sturdy jack knife after the blade delete.
Thanks for the kind words and the Böker info, Jeff. :thumbsup::)

That Craftsman stockman is grand! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Possibly the prettiest knife I own, at least to me, and a strong contender for my "wedding knife" when I get married next month.
Cv5tpvw.jpg
The wedding is less than a month away, and you still haven't decided on a knife yet?? 😲o_O
Have you decided on the bride, or are there still several strong contenders? 😁;)
Congrats on the upcoming marriage!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Totin this GEC Ram's Foot today. Just finished two eggs up, Jimmy Dean's Hot Sausage, and toast. That'll give me plenty of energy to sit here at the desk talkin to you guys/gals and in my recliner watching TV and napping.

That sounds very much like my afternoon plans, Ed. I'll start with leftover sausage from last night's dinner. Should be good scrambled with eggs...

A newly acquired whittler and and well loved 72 trapper for me today. Have a great weekend celebrating this great land of the free folks.

Sweet picture, Jack. ;) :thumbsup:
That knife is a peach... errr apricot... errr it's gorgeous! 🤠:thumbsup:
I thought you'd approve of that 33OT, John (but I think you're biased, right?).
You know I will always have a special place in my heart for them. 🤠:thumbsup:
So now I just go straight to calling the plumber.
I'm not very handy with plumbing issues... but why do plumbers have to charge like they have a Masters Degree? 🤪
That knife has gorgeous handles, Mike. 🤠:thumbsup:
