Hot day to be digging a footing, Greg! 😲
I don't envy you that job, but you sure have a nice-looking yard!
It sure was a sweat fest digging in the direct sun, Gary, but grunt work is what I do best. :):)
I'll pass on your compliment on our yard to the wife who does all the flower gardening. I assure you she will be tickled and sincerely pleased that you noticed.

74 & a Rooster for me today. The Fight'n Rooster never left the pocket but the GEC opened 15 bags of paver base to fill my trench when I got home from work today.

My Not the most fun part of boating, but has to be done.😊 I bet that fishing boat had some gunk on it by the end of the season! 😄
Old aluminum fishing boats are supposed to be dirty.
Algae dried on the hull, fish scales on the seats, spare shear pins in a pill bottle hanging on a wire from the oarlock...
It’s a kind of patina.
Jeff, back in the day, I had middle school students who thought I looked like Chuck Norris, and others who thought I resembled a vampire! 🤪
You might think a trip like that would be filled with adventure, and thrills, and fun/comedy, and maybe even romance, but I remember it as having WAY too much drama! 😲 Many of the players were more concerned with what everybody thought about everybody else, instead of just enjoying the weather and playing some ball!

Really like that modded screwdriver blade on your TL-29!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks much, Gary!
The premise of your chaperone story starts out with promise, but I’m not surprised at the reality. You might have felt like pulling your fingernails out with fencing pliers by the end of the trip!
Nobody ever accused ME of looking like Chuck Norris. Or Sean Connery, or Charles Bronson, either...
Floating around home with a fave…

Have a great evenin’ and night all
One of my favorites as well, Gus!
Gorgeous is exactly what I said before I bought it, and that was all I needed to know at the time.

I bought it at an antique store a month or two ago and do not know much about it. I am about as far as away from an expert as you can get, but I can tell you what I "assumed"
1. The covers are, as best I can tell, stag or a very good imitation.
2. I don't think anyone would go through the effort of changing the covers on what would have been a relatively inexpensive knife.
3. The knife appears unused and of modern make.
4. I did find an old thread talking about LTD and they seemed to think it meant "limited" What does it mean when a tang reads "LTD"

I don't really know anymore about it than that, like I said I bought it for it's looks :)

Adding more pictures if anyone does know more about it I'd be obliged, otherwise I'll just enjoy it as is, like you said, it's a looker.

There are a few sellers on the auction site who sell Schrade parts left from the bankruptcy. It’s not uncommon to see blades with LTD stamps among them, in fact, I think I bought one or two. I’d guess that means late production, but it’s a guess.
I do know the + means stainless, which you probably already know.
Great looking Schrade, though, that I’d certainly be proud to carry.

Thanks for the info, some of the reading I did also suggested that it might be a "leftovers" knife which is kinda cool really.

Same knife but my new made to order Beard&Owl Shearling wool lined leather slip and wonderful Barn Wall hanky just arrived👍🏻 Well worth the wait and Wow what a quality slip and Hanky 😲 there so nice !
I think I will dedicate this slip to all my Mini Copperlocks for break-in and fit .

All 3 are outstanding!

Boat cleaning day today, after three days in the water the hull will need a good scrubbing. But, first things first.😉View attachment 1595438
Looks like tough work 😂

I don't fix fence any more, but having pliers with a little hammer built in would be kind of handy, and I do occasionally need to cut wire, and I have better luck cutting wire with fence pliers than with the wire cutters on "regular" pliers (that I seem to have a million of 🤪).

That black Peanut is classy!:cool::thumbsup: Synthetic?
- GT

Those long handles on the fence pliers are good for getting leverage for cutting.👍

Thanks, GT. Yes the peanut is synthetic; and I agree, the black synthetic Case knives are classy. It also has my favorite Case shield.
