What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carl Schlieper Copperhead. Seems to get better with age—-probably had it 20 years with a lot of pocket time.

Loving the Old Timers.
Wearing their years well with sweet edges, and on Tolstoy no less, serious fella.
My wife tells me cilantro is coriander, Google confirm it as I doubted her. That's my fave herb, well second:) love it in soups and curries!

Herr Richartz about the garden cutting with tuetonic efficiency and a dash of cool.

Managed to learn a good method to re-centre blades lately. It was touching the mark side liner and it deeply irked me. This is kryptonite to my ocd!
I think the dried and ground seeds is coriander, if ya don’t save em to plant, that is!
Did you know that a subset of humans have a gene that makes cilantro taste like eating soap?
A friend is one of them. He has a hard time at Mexican restaurants!
Awesome knife there...
I guess for this:
"1. The cowboy must never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage.

2. He must never go back on his word, or a trust confided in him.

3. He must always tell the truth.

4. He must be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals.

5. He must not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas.

6. He must help people in distress.

7. He must be a good worker.

8. He must keep himself clean in thought, speech, action, and personal habits.

9. He must respect women, parents, and his nation's laws.

10. The Cowboy is a patriot."
(Gene Autry)

i'll carry this until Thursday or Friday next. :)

For the first time ever, I won a stag lottery! These new GEC 83’s are sweet little knives.

I believe they sent me your knife by mistake Harry, Old Engineer Old Engineer .

Some great stag on this page, Crappie71 Crappie71 and 5K Qs 5K Qs ! I really like that Mohawk Gary. If I allowed myself to collect more brands, that one would be on my list for sure!

You may be correct because mine has not arrived , or even been shipped yet . Just keep it for me , if you will my friend . It really is a very nice one , or at least the HALF that I have seen . I also believe that the GEC 83's are sweet little knives .

New Boker Canoe, and Dixie Stockman today.
Nice pairing, JB, and that canoe looks like a fine knife.
“Too nice not to use” ~ I’d feel the same way. Combined with the Whittler, you are all set.
Thanks, Jeff. My morning ritual is picking a couple knives to carry each day, after some strong coffee of course, and a peek on these pages most mornings. :)
Belated birthday greetings, Greg; sounds like you had a good one!:cool::thumbsup:
Remember when you turned 21? Turning 63 = 3 x 21, so 3 times as good. 🤓
Thanks, Gary. I don't remember a thing about my 21st birthday, not saying alcohol had a hand in that but......, what I am pretty sure about is that I wasn't asleep by 9:30 and up at 5:00 like I am at this age. ;)

I've been on a pattern of pairing an equal end and whittler lately. Todays carry, bone 35 Churchill and Klaas stag. (recycled pic of pile sides)

I'd misplaced a knife. Looked through my knife chest three(3) times, as well as high and low and the knife was no where to be found. Clothes were washing and I figured I'd find it in a jeans pocket. Then the thought struck me ... look at the last picture you took of the knife. Maybe that'll give you some ideas. Lo and behold, the knife was sitting exactly where I'd taken a picture four(4) days prior !!!

So if I lose track of this Nontron Violin slip joint, I can always come back and look to this picture for reminders of where it might be ... Toward the middle of nowhere, in a land filled with scrabble rock through which a small turbulent watercourse rambles and at the base of a significant cliff, by way of a tight passage to an underground network of galleries, I'll find this black grass grows and is kept neatly trimmed. The watchman there likes cookies and will turn a blind eye. Otherwise he will alert and emergency actions may become necessary. The knife may be there, or maybe in a pocket I haven't checked.
