Seein a lot of nice stag today, including this one
Cool patina.
What were you cutting, and do you plan on leaving it?
It really reminds me of the color case hardening on an old Colt ‘73 Single Action Army.
Got out early to beat the heat on some chores; spread ten bags of mulch - not that much, had to modify my new flag pole to better display Old Glory, refueled the boat and then refueled the gas cans at the station up the road. Carried one of my hard work pocketknives, a well worn Case 6332. Going to put the boat in the water and take my wife and daughter cruising down the Intercoastal Waterway to Sneads Ferry after I cool off a bit - hopefully we can dock at the Riverview Restaurant and have a nice seafood lunch and then cruise home (never know what size the crowd will be like in the summertime on a weekend though). Switching to this Craftsman SS pocketknife for the saltwater environment. OH
Ps @A.L. I like your plan of the day!

Have fun, but like the boss always said when I pulled the tanker truck out full of propane, “Keep her rubber side down!”. In your case, Keep her keel side down!

Gonna ride to town just to see what's going on and waste gas riding around and then back home to get ready to go to the Brass Rail this evening for dinner - lamb steak sliced really thin so I can gum it along with Spanish Rice, salad, and a baked potato. I'm still on my Case Sod Buster Jr. kick and will be carrying this one with a SS blade and Pocket Worn Harvest Orange jigged bone covers today.

Love the jigging on your Sod Buster Jr and I know what you mean I can’t get mine out of my pocket I like it so much and actually have another on the way just with a different flavor of covers.
