  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Final knife posting for a while...
I'll be traveling for the next ten days and won't be pocketing a good knife...
Due to Wyoming's stupid visitor's laws and Nebraska's vague "you COULD be arrested" laws.
I'll probably just carry my Vic Cadet and plead dumb if it ever comes up... can't go without!!!
I never thought I'd be anxious to get back to Kalifornia where I can carry a simple pocket knife. 🤪
Happy trails, John!
Mom said she intended to live to see her great grandchildren retire.
A worthy goal! Sounds like a good plan! :D

11th Anniversary today. Opinel is for slicing up the charcuterie board, peanut is just because it's what I carried for my wedding. It was a good day, and it's been a great 11 years.

Happy 11th Tyson, here’s to many more! 😎🥂

Got back an hour or so ago from my daughter’s cookout, had a great time, but we arrived a few hours late due to a flat tire. Got out to change the tire and found out that a spare tire on my wife’s car is an option not standard equipment. We bought it used and didn’t think about that! 🙄 So instead of changing the tire I snapped this picture while we were waiting for the tow truck! C7C52F3D-7DB9-46B4-8D71-A0E1C2E6845D.jpeg
We called “Area 51 Towing” and a very nice guy named Pete came and towed us to his place where he plugged our tire and got us on our way. He had these planters out side the door to his shop! 😄32685095-266C-421E-8BF0-02B1645B070A.jpeg
He calls his service Area 51 because he is located a few miles of Highway 51. He offered us a cold beer while we waited for him to fix our tire, good dude! 😎👍

Have a great trip. I’m learning this week that you can survive with just a SAK...but barely.

I had a flat tire in Area 51 1/2 I think because the guy that came out to change my tire had only one arm 😲

That's krazy John, I didn't know there were places in the US where you COULD get arrested for carrying a pocket-knife! Sounds like England! Safe travels my friend, and I hope you have a great trip
