What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you, Jack. :)
I like fun knives that make me smile.

Great picture, Jack. 🤠
Hope you're having a good weekend.

That #25 has all kinds of character. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Those a great choices if you have to be stuck with just two knives... one fancy and one worker. 🤠

Safe travels back home, Todd. :)
That grey bone looks fantastic on the SBJ. 🤠
Thanks John! Yup, a nice slim, light one for when I'm man-about-town in my cargo shorts, and a beefier one for when I got the Carhartt's on getting ready to do something that needs doing :)

Large Stockman for today. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

This knife has NO RIGHT to be as solid rugged, generously sized and with good fit and finish for UNDER $20 !!!
Bade is not perfectly centered, but well centered. Backspring is virtually flush at half stop and even more so fully opened. Just slightly sunk when closed.
NO blade play or wobble what so ever. Good bevels and even grinds.
Smooth transitions and fine walk 'n talk. If I could change anything, it MIGHT be the covers ... MAYBE. Wood or bone would be nice but this Micarta is also okay.
This knife is a WIN and it just ain't right.

This morning i was pondering a interesting conversation my brother and I had with some AMA guys at a Rendezvous at the Maxwell Wildlife Refuge. At one point in the conversation I told one of them that as a young man I went through the phases of mountain man to buffalo hunter to cowboy and never made it past cowboy. His response was yes I can tell.
:D
In light of that heres my choices of knives for the day. Camillus Stockman and a GEC Pioneer Trapper.

Gec 33 conductor in Ebony this morning.
Gec 54 moose in stag this afternoon.
Need to update membership so I can post pictures I think.

Membership has its benefits, that's for sure.
That said ... before I purchased a membership, I used IMGUR to upload pics and then using the Imgur photo link, posted pics here.
Should work with other photo hosting sites as well.
In the "Post Reply" box there is an "Insert Image" icon on the toolbar. When you click on the Insert Image icon, there is a "By URL" tab and that is where you enter the photo link from Imgur or whomever hosts the pic.
