Absolutely Mike! We’ve been going to the Lake for years, with or without a boat it’s a great place to vacation.

I like dried figs, but they don’t grow around here, so I’ve never tried them fresh.

You’re missing out. A fresh, ripe fig is a real treat.

Paul Sacto , our figs down south are brown when ripe. These are Celeste Figs. A summer treat. I wish I could send some to you Jeff @Amir Fleschwund . Figs fresh off the tree are like manna from Heaven. But I don’t think they would travel well!

I agree, I look forward to them every summer. Mine are Kadota figs. They need to be picked ripe, so they definitely won’t travel well.
