Totally dreaming here, as it would never happen in a million years, but how about a BK4 in A2? And a BK3 in S7.
I'd be happy with a .250 Machax
I keep thinking I would love it too. But part of the reason I love the machax is for its weight to utility ratio, and for how well the inside of the blade's curve can slice. I'm afraid a quarter inch stock might screw those up. I don't know, but it'd be a concern of mine.
Let's face it, I'm never going to break my regular one.

I don't think the advantage of the 1/4/" is about strength as it is about chopping power.I keep thinking I would love it too. What ever is best if .22 is best I'am good. So kj in your opinion dose the 32 thousandths make such a noticeable difference ?I know bladite does make a good case for the .25 bk4, but I think the magic number is .22 as tanker suggests.
My cincin's are all .22 and they are pretty amazing. The Camillus version at .25 feels like swinging a tire iron, its very unpleasant to use. The balance is terrible, and the thick ground bevel really makes it lose its slicing ability. Honestly the kabar has the best weight to utility ratio.
However, the Camillus is the perfect machax mod platform. I have one that I put to the slack belt and fully convexed and it feels and performs very similar to the cincin. I have another I'm going to put a full flat on, but I might seek professional help for that project.
If you can find a Camillus machax and you have belt grinder, or maybe a ken onion blade girder attacment to a work sharp, you could take the bevel in like a lot of people do on the brutes, but I Still think it wouldn't remove enough weight to make it useable, or fun to use. The hardest part would be finding a Cam machax for a good price... might not be worth spending around 200 for a blade your going to mod.

Right on kj, I bet is dose make a hell of difference. If you get a chance, post a pic of that bad boyYes very noticeable. It might sound like I'm just crazy but it's an massive difference between the cam and the cincin's.
The cam at .25 is about 23oz and my cincin at .22 is 19.2oz. (Or course there is a bit a variation within all the cincin's)
Right now my ideal machax is .25 thick, flat ground, convexed edge, with the relief cuts on the spine like the bk20/29.
