What Type Knife/Tool Would You Like To See Released From BK&T?

Like my wife says, "just two more inches".

A BK2 with two more inches. That simple. Same 1/4 inch thick 1095 and everything else the same. A 3/16 bk2 is blasphemy.

Oh yah, name: BK2+2 of course.

Curious Bladite. Do you know who does have the three prototypes or are they floating around waiting to be discovered

i know (or knew) where one lives within about 3 feet... the other two? well, unless someone is feeling generous, and there's no reason for that, we won't see them for a LONG TIME, if ever, as they are not obvious or remarkable...

I know Moose got one, not sure about the other 2.

i would find that rather unbelievable but "who knows"...

now, we all did get a bunch of Hogues, who would have made the folder, but as far as i know, nobody less than principle got them

I think the kephart would be costly if done right. I would like to see the tweener line expand. 7" BK4 tweener kind of this a TOPs dart.

not much more than any reasonably made custom...

back in the day, $5 and you got a happy meal and change

How about a Becker ULU?
I rendered one once upon a time:

That ULU ROCKS !!! I would like to see a trio of unusual, limited run BK&T's.

ULU
Fast Hawk
Cleaver------3/16" thick, 8" blade edge, hanging hole in top, forward spine, coated, BK&T grips.

I'd be down for a set of those 3 !!!

Someone say cleaver?

Yes, I love the bolo-esque blades on this page!
Also, the Ulu is awesome.

I've said before many times and will say again. Bk14 handle us too short to be useful to me.
My Izula 2 is a constant companion for me. The Izula2 handle is long enough to get a real grip on it. With the Bk 15 having a longer blade than the Izula, it is even more important to have a handle long enough. I'd say a bk14 with the Izula 2 handle.

ben - you have no clue how many times I've asked the Boss to try and talk KaBar into that.....
OTOH, you might want to check out the TMHunt Skelemag at USAMadeBlade, it's pretty close to what you're asking for and made from slightly thinner stock than your izzy2 with a smooth ceracoat so it's more slicey. (or the regular magua w/G10 scales)

I did the same thing with some purpleheart -- lived on my pack until a friend's wife decided she needed a new carving/sewing knife.
