What watch do you wear?

One of the rarer watches I own. Omega Weems Mk VII/RAF 6B 159 this weekend. 2000 delivered to the UK Air Ministry. This one in May 1940. Wish it could talk and tell me its stories.

What is the second crown for? Syncing/running a 60 second timer? Locking the bezel?

Correct. The problem with h.Hacking movements is hacking interrupts the movement's time keeping. The bezel is used to synch the seconds to a secondary time source after which the crown locks the bezel in place. The dial is then used for reading hours and minutes and the bezel for reading seconds.

I decided to splurge and buy myself a better quality watch. What do you think if the Breitling Emergency II?

After reading several positive reviews, I chased this MDV 106-1a down at the only Walmart in town yesterday that had one in stock. Wearing it today....

Speaking personally, if you are incorporating digital elements and a dial that messy - you might as well get a G-shock and save the extra costs.

This week a mundane Seiko SKX007. Has the practically bomb proof 7s26 auto movement. Can still be found new for ~$150. Though quite mundane, it's an excellent watch.

Most legible watch I own.

Webb C. Ball Trainmaster in a C case with an A. Schild c.1604B RR Approved chronometer. One of the last of the RR Approved watches. This one is about 50 years old now.

Back when the term "Railroad Approved" actually meant something. Nice one.

Just got a new watch for my birthday! Got a green faced Seiko5, stuck a green/black G10 on it, and been loving it. So far it seems to be pretty good on time, no drift noticeable over a couple days at least.
Leghog, I like the look of that diver, might look at that one for next years birthday!
