What watch do you wear?

All the Seiko's I owned were auto's and doing a bit of rough activities can actually (Edit) F'k them up permanently, after that they never work again unless you send it off and have it repaired, that happened to me a couple of times, that was mainly what I ran into. Still love the ole SKX007's but Mountain biking, dirt biking and atving, scuba diving and weightlifting kept me on edge about something happening to them so I fell back in love with the ole G-Shock's, they are just hard to beat.

First time I've every heard that the Seiko drivers can't take getting banged around. They may have drawbacks but they have a history of being extremely durable.

Exyreme vibration can harm any mechanical movement. The mechanics of the 007 make it impossible to overwind but it happened to you twice. Very strange x2.

Not being a watch engineer by trade, I assumed that was what it was, either way a quick trip around the back yard with the push mower and a brand new Seiko auto will end its life, that is what happened to one of them, the other was dirt bike riding. Never happened to any of my G's so that's what I will roll with.

Odd I've been pushing a mower many many summers and shooting at the rifle and pistol ranges many many years while wearing a Seiko auto and have never killed one. The Seiko 7s26 movement is known to be pretty much bombproof. I don't even think about it, plus I needn't worry about batteries or capacitors.

My old Seiko quit working shortly after I retired in 2006. Never bought a replacement. If I need to know the time I look at my cell. One less thing to worry about.

Awesome watch! Dive watches are my favorite. The new SEa Dweller 4000 is my ultimate grail. Although I could "settle" for a sub lol.

The Sub and SD4000 are both the same case diameter. I've owned both. I love my Deepsea. I won't be buying anymore watches. This is the only watch I own.

I have a tag f1, Aquaracer, titanium Eco drive diver and a vintage 6309 Seiko cushion case diver but this is my main squeez.

I bought a Tag Heuer F1 at the Hickam AFB BX in the very early '90s for about $90. They were selling in Honolulu at the time for abour $325. It traveled the world with me for nearly ten years and made dives across the Pacific.

Both the bezel and crystal have since been replaced. This one goes to my twin brother's son.

Aye, I'm still trying not to buy myself the deep-sea. The 114060 Sub. I have is just fine, it's just fine, it's just fine....:p

I'll stick with my Eco Drives. I have three of them but wear the Nighthawk the most. It was my first nice watch and a gift from the wife. Hopefully it will be with me a while longer.
