What would you like to see from CS in 2017?

A return to the old style Voyager. Rather than that ugly mess we have now. I have lived many years with out that fancy lock, Never had a CS folder close on my fingers.

My X2 Voyager goes every where I go.
Why not the old handle with the Triad lock? It's sure as hell they would not go back to the conventional back lock.

Check out the Mini Recon 1, it uses the new less aggressive and thinner G10. It's pretty darn close to Delica size. They're both 7.125 inches long open but the MR1 has a 3" blade while the Delica has a 2.85" blade.

The steel however is a huge difference. The XHP just holds an edge better for me. A VG-10 Stretch held an edge for 160 cuts, the exact same as a Recon 1 in AUS8A on 5/8" Manila rope . The CTS-XHP on a CS Ultimate Hunter went for 540 as far as Ankerson's testing showed. CTS-XHP from my experience with it from CS seems to be heat treated to a higher HRC. Ankerson did a test on a CTS-XHP Military from Spyderco and it only did 240 with a 60.5 HRC while the CS XHP came in at 63.5 HRC. If I wanted a 3" folder the MR1 would be my pick, I had a Delica and while it was small it was just too small for my bear claws:D

Thanks I'll check the mr1 out

I feel you. X2 and old XL Voyagers were better for me

Loved the opening action, I fell in love with those looks, they were the only 6" clip point and recurves folders in the world, I fondled and played with them a lot. Loved both the Tanto and Clip Point voyagers muuuch more tan the new ones

and never had a lock failure in all these years.

TriAd may be stronger but those old lock back were more than enough, and I'd trade the lock for those looks any day, and I much prefer the older handles' feel and shape, especially the Vaquero's

A production ad-10 shaped like the old school ad-10s. .190 thick cts-xhp 3.75 in long blade and smooth contoured g10 handle.

I concur wholeheartedly.

A full tang Boar Hunter/Collector in 3V with G-10 scales and stainless guard and subhilt, DLC'd like the new Tantos and tai Pan.

  1. Bring back the Desperado in 3V and DLC coating
  2. Production version of the Demko AD-10 made in the USA

The discontinued CS naga kris just didn't do justice to this ancient weapon

CC wizards could be whole lot more creative with a folding tactical kris
Worthy enough for practitioners to ogle at.

Some damn good designs to replace the Hold Out and Talwar. I'm sure there are and can't wait to see them. Also a manual Swift would be cool.

i would like to see a persian fighter with a fixed 5'' blade. similar to the microtech sbk but with a bit of a curved handle rather then straight.
