What would you like to see from CS in 2017?

Just don't discontinue the friggin Talwar

I was going to buy the CTS-XHP OD Green and Coyote Tan, crappytastically they are hard to find here, very rare.

How about a 5" XHP Colossus and 4"/5" Grivory CTS-BD1 variants for $70-$80.

5.5" Black Talon

Since the Desperado was brought up (I had one of those a long time ago, nice handle), how about a Desperado handle on a 5.5" Leaf shape blade (Fixed Blade Colossus? Only with a tiny handle. Maybe do a regular Fixed Blade Colossus and then make a "FBC-Stealth" or something. I'll use it for cooking either way).

Speaking of compact fixed blades, I've always wanted a 6" Braveheart.
Heck, go 9" and make it a real Seax.

A naginata, but in machete version so it's affordable. They did a Kukri version, lets keep going.

Never happen, but I would love to see a Tri-ad Ti-lite. Love the knife, just don't like liner locks in general. And upgrade the Tuff-Lite, that knife is a gem.

What would you like to see from CS in 2017?

A thicker version of the boar spear w/ both sides forged instead of being stamped out of one piece of material so both sides look identical. Oh, and maybe some kind of option for a high-impact, telescoping aluminum shaft.

BTW I still hope to see the Pro-lites with upgraded steel.

G-10 etc will make it a totally new knife. But upgrading the steel is less expensive and takes less effort.
Cheap knife with a godd steel (BD1 or XHP) will make it a Glock in a knife world.

1)Bring back the Desperado and the Culloden.

2)Give us a seax. Not a seax machete, but an actual seax.

3)A smaller folding karambit. The Tiger Claw is just too big and lacks the pronounced curve of many karambits, it's basically a hawkbill with a ring. I'd like to see a smaller one, with more of the traditional karambit curve.

4)More XL folders. Nobody really does these but Cold Steel. Someone else mentioned a Black Talon or Collosus XL as potential options.

5)More machetes. I'm a big fan of machetes, I own a ton of machetes from a ton of companies, but I'm always on the lookout for more. I'd like to see some say, SE Asian style machetes this time, parangs, goloks, that sorta thing(I'd also be happy with bringing back the 12'' barong machete with the new style barong machete handle).

These are nice too, so don't take'em out of the game

really, WTF they thinking? These are true champs!

For real, the Recon 1 XL clip is an incredible, functional Demko design. I stocked up with a couple in Aus 8 and one in XHP when I read they are disco'd. If the XHP goes on "clearance" price I may have to get more, lol.

I'm a Cold Steel Folder Fan - I have just about all of them (except the Colossus). My wish list is similar to others on the forum

1) I would like to see a Ti-Lite with a mirror polished blade (both 4" and 6")

2) How about a new XL folder? I have the XL Voyagers, XL Espada, 4 Max, 6" Ti-Lites, Hold Out, Counter Point XL, 5" Talwar, Spartan, and Recon XL. I NEED MORE!

3) I'm not sure why I thought of this, but I'd like to see a true balisong from Cold Steel. Wah, I want one and there's too many to research and choose from, so I'd just prefer Cold Steel made one and I'd buy it.

4) How about a new CS folder with Demko's Scorpion Lock? Is that even a remote possibility?

5) A Cold Steel Flipper?

6) Return of the Voyager X2?

What I really want to see is a compact Barong that isn't another machete. 12" blade, 1/4" thick, O1 steel satin finish, black Micarta handle, integral guard, zero convex ground, sharpened false edge. A blade that combines the chopping power of the kukri with the stabbing power of the bowie while being an excellent slasher.

More limited editions like the Rawles Voyager that combine a steel upgrade with a different colored handle material.
Recon 1 with 3V steel and tan G-10 or...?

It's nice to see that a number of fans want Cold Steel to bring out more XL folders. That's certainly what I'm hoping for.

How about an upgraded Marauder Bowie in 3V or XHP with a metal guard? I always felt like its an awesome design that never got all of what it deserves.
