What would you like to see us make next?

Kershaw/Onion Taboo. All out, nothing left behind. Give us something to make the Sebenza guys cry.

It's absolutely beautiful.:D

I like the Ripcord a lot too. I'd love to see something else in a manual OTF style. Larger though, 5.25in closed, and without having to use the belt clip. I'd also like to see this OTF offered with a double edge blade (wasp waisted would be phenomenal) and a clip point, coated as well. Somthing like a cross between the Benchmade Infidel and this out of production CS SR1 would get my money (no serrations though). Of course, it'd need the necessary Kershaw improvements and style.

ok, so i know that ZT has autos coming out shortly, but how about a Kershaw (not ZT) auto? maybe a OTF or side opening auto. With Ken's style and Kershaw's tech, it could be one elegant switchblade :D :D

I want something in Carbon Fiber. Anything that Ken, Tim or RJ has done
would look great.
I'm just partial to CF though. For both looks and weight.

1. A fixed blade made in the States out of Sandvik 13C26 that has at least a 5" blade.

2. A Storm 2 with G-10 scales.

3. An Amphibian made out of Sandvik 13C26.

Hi Ken, thanks for listening.
One of my favorite Kershaw knives is the Kershaw Talon 1421ST (the one with the bottle opener instead of thumbstuds)

I've always hoped Kershaw would bring it back and currently I don't see any hawkbilled blades in the Kershaw lineup at all.

I would like to see a Ken Onion designed Hawkbill blade.

I personally would like to see a knife that is made in the US factory, is of top rate construction, reeks of quality, that everyone can afford, and it sells in huge volume.

I know, call me killjoy.

I have one or 2 of those... hows 'bout another.:D

ken....i'd like to see a high grade gentleman's knife.....a nice blade steel like zdp-189......a super thin blade.....nice wooden handle....assisted opening....maybe a small leather sheath with a kershaw logo on it.....sort of along the lines of a william henry but kershaw cool......ryan

I'd like to see more composite blades, I really like how they look. As for the design... I'd like to see a knife with a framelock on one scale, and G-10 as the other. For the bladeshape, I think a flat ground drop point or recurve would be good.

Check out the O So Sweet. The Inferno is the inspiration for the O So Sweet

I didnt realize that, I havent seen the O So Sweet until now. I dont really like the nylon handles, liner lock, or the blade steel. I would like to see a Kershaw version that was closer to the Inferno with maybe carbon fiber or g10 inlays in the handle, s30v or cpm-d2 blade and frame lock.

How about something like this http://www.rickhindererknives.com/. The XM-18 framelock with custom color G-10 on the other. It could be cheap with standard steel framelock or highend with TI framelock. Also I like the different blade shapes and colors of G-10 that you can get. The new SHALLOT might work as a base, it is good knife in need of something more. Offer many different choices of blade steel 6 or 10 low to high end would also be a big plus. The BLUR is a prime example that different steels will sell and are want by many. Maybe it could even be a Kershaw MULE with a new run of steel every 6 or 8 months. I think a good folder would be an even better seller than the small fixed blade of the Spyderco MULE. 1000 to 1500 would be a good size for the each batch, Spydercos 500 of each sold out in just a few days.

I only own one kershaw (storm) and would love to see something like a damascus storm with the sandpaper inserst replaced with an exotic hard wood. The surrounding metal handle should be like the buck chipflint blades to provide looks and a better grip. The thumbstuds should be larger and without the serrations, the current ones are a little hard on my thumb. If you could keep the whole thing about the same thickness and under $150, it would be my last knife. The storm is my favorite edc as it is.

this is a pic of the chipflint blade from buck if you havent seen it.

I will try to make a photoshop image of the knife I have in mind. But I dont know if I can.

Ken!
Aloha,

How about a production version with supergold steel of the knife you made for the Badlands competition? Black linen micarta handle with Ti bolster.

That would be a hot fixed blade.

I would like to see a Ken Onion designed Hawkbill blade.

I would also like to see a hawkbill blade, maybe with a 2.5 to 3 inch blade and g-10 handles. I think it would be even better if it would use the stud lock. Thanks for listening!

1. More Stud-lock models, that lock makes any knife work and look better IMO.

2. Another model with the safety flipper as seen on the Mini-Mojito.

3. Keep pushing the steel. I'd like to see a composite blade with CPM S125V or MPL1 if possible (and more ZDP-189 is always a good thing).

4.Thicker liner locks. I know you guys already to a great job with them, but it couldn't hurt to raise the standard even further.
Or make alternate Frame-lock versions of Liner-lock models, for those of us who like the extra feeling of security (probably a lot more work to accomplish though).

5. A good big Wharncliff bladed folder (with Stud-lock, safety flipper, and CPM S125V blade:D).
The Cyclone or Offset models would be a good place to start for handle design.

Also.
I heartily agree with Vivi's post (#21), especially concerning the placement of the thumb ramp.

As Glockman mentioned, a Kershaw Bowie would be great too. Preferably made with 13C26 in the USA factory, and give it a 7" blade, with a 5" variant for those in restrictive areas.

Thanks for asking Ken.

I can't think of anything, but hey... you guys are the innovators. I'd rather be surprized by something I've never thought of. I WOULD like to see a sentimental favorite: The Aloha Cowgirl Flipper (Draper/Onion)
