I've got this 1 coming. I'm pretty new to traditionals and this will be my first hand made knife!

Got a couple of Victorinox Alox Bantams en route. One for use and one for a spare since they are discontinued.

Love that acrylic thread! Thanks! I was lucky, and scored a 38 in Neptune acrylic, another stunning cover material.

The 2nd GEC I bought was a 54 in tortoise shell, so naturally I'm hoping for another run of your avatar knife. :)

I'm awaiting a new run of Cuban stockmen with the tortoise acrylic. One can always hope!

For sure! The 54/53 is a favorite and I recently got a Cuban stockman from 08 in stag and stainless. I would certainly pony up for another in tortoise shell!

I have an Indian River Jack and Eric's Jack on the way! I've been looking for the IRJ for a long time.

The Maker is Joel Chamblin. In case you're interested there's a couple available at A.G. Russell Knives

Got a B-Day coming up next week. Decided to get that 82 in Osage Orange I've been ogling. It'll be my first stockman & my first wood handled knife, I'm pretty psyched!

I just put in my deposit for a custom made BRKT! Bark River Essential, w/o bolsters, Ziricote scales, red liners, and mosaic pins.

My sheepsfoot TC Barlow should be back from Great Eastern Cutlery sometime between now and early next week!

Be careful of the IRJ. If it's one of the 2015 by Queen, the super steel blade comes sharp as a razor, sharpest knife I've ever seen other than a razor or a scalpel!

You should have them soon! And like Dr. Scott said, the IRJ is a great knife. That CPM154 can get very sharp and overall it is just a great knife. Perfect size, pull and shape to carry all of the time. Let me know how you like it!!

Edited to add: I have a custom by Ken Coats in the works...I'm graciously waiting for it!

I have a Queen stockman in feathered buffalo horn and a 23 Yellow rose smooth bone in transit.

Extremely happy with the IRJ. I will put in an order when the next release comes out 4th qrtr of this year.

Ordered some knives tonight for the first time since before Christmas (although I bought several in person when my daughter showed me around Spain over the holidays). Sometime next week I'm expecting a Rough Rider lockback canoe in amber jigged bone (which matches almost all of my other RRs) and a Colt canoe with G-10 handles and titanium-coated carbon steel blades. Also ordered a Rough Rider electrician's knife and a RR liner lock "work knife" i.e. sodbuster (both in amber jigged bone, of course) and two RR lockbacks, one in jigged bark bone (curious to see what this is like) and the other in "midnight swirl" that looks like it's some kind of acrylic. (I'm still not sure why I ordered these, since I'm not a huge fan of single-bladed knives - maybe it's a Spanish influence, given that everything I brought back from Spain is single-blade.) Also ordered a Colt sowbelly stockman with black bone stag handles. Christmas in May, baby!!
