Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Do you have any Delrin handled knives, Shawn? I know Delrin has been around for a long time now, and is used for a lot of different applications. On the Bullnose from GEC's Farm & Field line, the Delrin picks up scratches (patina) quickly, but overall is very durable. The handle is soft and warm compared to some materials. A Delrin Farm & Field Tool will really take a beating.

I have a handful of Case knives in yellow delrin, but no GEC's yet. I picked up the black delrin bullnose to hold me over until they make some using micarta or wood.

Canal Street full moon trapper in smooth amber bone...first CSC for me. Nope, the supplier notified me incorrect knife in that box...bummer.

My very first Trad custom, the T.A. Davidson #1224, snatched seconds from its listing. It's exactly the design I've been waiting for.

To say I am excited would be an understatement.

I'll cross-post some pics when I get on a PC.

I don't think it was classified as a boy's knife. It was their 11031SH model. I think it was listed as a utility knife. They also made a similar Whaler which had a bail and a couple other variants.
Someone more versed in Case knives might be able to shed some better light on it than I can. The EO notch on this one was done by Paul Hilborn. He sold it to Thales2015 (David), who I'm buying it from. David modified it a bit more by adding a swedge to the blade.

Congrats, Bob; very cool knife with an interesting "history"!:thumbup:
(The photo, with the liner reflecting in the side of the blade, had me very confused for a minute! I was thinking, "Bob got cheated; there's a blade missing on that old boy!")

J_Curd,

Very classy & useful shadow pattern. I especially like the shield & the choice to go with the black G10.

I appreciate the support fellow addicts. It was rather easy to pull the trigger on this one, albeit barnone the largest investment I've made in a Traditional knife.

I'm hoping it is all I dream.

Yes!!! Just got confirmation on 2ea Northfield #77 Barlows... Score. I've been waiting on these for a while.

Thanks to jrTodd46 for putting me on the inside track.

I've got a 2nd generation Solingen made Bulldog (Olbertz) 4" premium stockman in stag on the way. Pics when it arrives.

GEC 77 Barlow : One each of the Old Red Sawcut and the Old Tan Sawcut wre ordered yesterday and probably will have in less than a week.

Just got off the phone with Johnny Stout, he is nice enough to make me a single blade trapper in primo stag and some special damascus, won't be for a few months but it should be a beauty.
