Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Orange alox Victorinox SAKs: a little Rambler model and the Rancher. Unfortunately they will not be mine, but will soon be back in the mail as graduation gifts.

A new SAK and zebralight for my father's birthday for his trip overseas should arrive promptly tomorrow just in time before his departure as well as a 77 Barlow in tan sawcut is on the way for myself as well~

Unfortunately nothing on order for the next few weeks, medical bills will be taking over for a little while :(

A USN Deck knife (Now THAT is a good 'utilitarian' sheath knife!) I also ordered a 7001 (a 2 3/8" ATS34 drop-point blade assisted opening pocket knife.)

These should stave off the cravings for a new blade... NOT! ;)

A day or two ago I was moaning about a looming mountain of bills casting an unpleasant shadow over my knife needs.

The GEC linerlock 73 in Osage Orange continued to beckon, like a siren  Then I hit on a great solution: as the weather should improve soon, I can walk to work instead of using the car! Saves money for sure, cuts pollution, spares wear on the car, hopefully causes me to lose 4kgs which I want to! Equals Knife Knirvarna:D:D:D

Thanks, Will

I'd love to work within walking distance, but I currently have a 45 minute drive give or take :grumpy: maybe it's time to look for something new :)

Sounds like well directed will power ;)

I admire a man with a plan! ;) Good luck, Will!

Hope everything works out OK, Shawn, and you (or yours) get well soon (and get knives soon after).

Thanks everybody:thumbup:

Going to be a test of will power tomorrow, gale force winds, heavy rain and only 3C! A 40 minute walk each way in that is not to be relished.

Well, I did say when the weather improves soon...that'll be Monday then:D:D

Regards, Will

Right now, I'm waiting on the new run of Mudbugs. I want a green linen micarta Mudbug. That would complete the set...unless of course, they come out with a different handle color.

Thank you for the well wishes, there were a few trips to the ER earlier this year for some discomfort my daughter was having, but she's doing great now  With nothing currently on order I was lucky enough to receive a thank you note from Dr. Scott today in the form of this TC barlow (my first)

Thank you Scott!

Nice! a CSC/Kabar trapper and that cool little friction folder up above...it's good to be you.

I have one of the new #73 LL Northfield's in cocobolo inbound.
Haha, thanks. I've gotten rid of most of my collection. So its time to slowly build it back, and then do it again lol.

Thank you Scott!

Glad to hear your daughter is doing well, Shawn! I saw the story of your new Charlow in some other thread; congrats on a gorgeous knife!!:thumbup:
Isn't it cool when things are looking "kinda slow" and then some unexpected good fortune hits you right between the eyes?? :p:p

Todd, I love my GEC's and have my collection, but I will allow myself only four knife purchases a year now. I had to slow it down. # two, is going to be one of those trappers like yours...later on.
