Just ordered a Northwoods camel bone Esky Zulu

...and the #47 and #81 I posted about on the last page just came in.

Decided I needed a Buck 303 in black Valox.

I have two black 303's. A Camillus-made 303 I bought decades ago, and a 1997 303 made by Buck with flat ground blades. I find I prefer the current "Edge 2000" blade grind. The new grind cuts better.
 
Just picked up a Robeson Single-Blade Spear-Point Barlow off of the exchange. It'll be my first Barlow, and I kept telling myself that I wouldn't jump on one until I found a single-blade Spear-Point at a reasonable price. The awesome Robeson bolster stamp is just some good ol' fashioned lagniappe.

Now, I'll have to beg for forgiveness from my wife as this is my 5th knife in 15 days! :eek: Maybe I can use my birthday as an excuse! Wish me luck!

Thanks! It was not where I planning on going with my next knife but couldn't pass it up. I will post pics when the mailman drops it off (alongside it's sister #1314).

Those look great, Tony. It sure is MUCH too easy to fall into a tailspin with these #18s! I'm trying with all of my might to stay away from the Rod Wood. Unfortunately, my will power has just diverted to spending money on other knives. :o

I have a sneaking suspicion that the upcoming #14s will be very similar. These damned small knives are like potato chips!

I ordered my first GEC today: a beagle in oil sucker rod. I was planning to wait for the #14s, but the pictures of the beagles in that material kept calling to me. I'm excited!
