Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I ordered my first GEC today: a beagle in oil sucker rod. I was planning to wait for the #14s, but the pictures of the beagles in that material kept calling to me. I'm excited!

Exactly the reason I pulled the trigger on the OSRW #18 Friday. I couldn't force myself to wait any longer, and I found a reasonable deal on it (along with a pretty excellent price for a camo acrylic Coyote and free shipping for the pair). Are you aware of the history behind these little slabs of wood? I find it fascinating. Some owners have said they can smell hints of "erl" on their knives...

At some point those pups are gonna be long gone and I would be kicking myself over it. So Friday I flushed those future regrets and I can't wait for those tubes to arrive. :D

I found this on the exchange and pounced on it. I've missed this model several times over the years and have always kicked myself about it. Very pleased with myself. (Mitch, thanks again, and I'm borrowing your picture here)

Screenshot removed, because it showed a non-BF dealer.

Just got this off some auction site. I think it will clean up well.

Picked up a US-made Schrade 12OT single clip peanut from the big auction site. Paid about as much as a couple beers at the bar. Pretty excited to finally make use of the coin pockets on my jeans...

You can't go wrong with the look of the Case "as ground" blades Tsar. I like the little cutout with the end cap also...

I just pulled the trigger on a Schatt & Morgan #54 Coles Whittler in whiskey catalina bone. It looks like such a neat knife!

I just ordered my first GEC knife.

I thought long and hard about what to get for my first and decided I would actually carry and use this so it's a good way to draw conclusions about GEC.

Just ordered my first GEC in 440C...a Navy Knife in burnt orange bone. Really stoked for this. It was these scales or natural micarta. Since these are still available, it was a great price. Not my pics.

Colt Titanium 6-blade Stockman... my first stockman, first bone-handled, first Titanium-coated and first time I get to see all blade types...

Nice one Tyler, that means you're hooked. Enjoy it.

My daughter who lives in Madrid placed an order for me with a Spanish website:

JJ Martinez navaja de campaña, carbono y ciervo (carbon steel stag sodbuster jr)
JJ Martinez marinera 170PE espada carbono (carbon steel sailor's knife with spearpoint blade, abs handle, anchor shield, and bail)
Otter Workman 57-4 (carbon steel sheepsfoot blade, bubinga wood covers)

She's coming home for a visit in about 3 weeks and will bring the knives with her!

Handsome bone on that one, a kind of Winterbottom. I'm certain you'll be thrilled with the knife. If not hand it over to me.....:D:D

duderubble You made the right choice, the 83 is a versatile and very useful lockback, easy to carry and up to most tasks. The Purple Sage Bone is really pleasant stuff.

Thanks, Will

A whole mess of SS #15s and #74s. :D

Now THAT was a timely reminder!

I waffled hardcore about the #74, but I'm going to wait and see on those. Depending on the jigging style, I may try to snag a burnt orange when there's more info available.

But I'm in for a #15 in tortoise shell acrylic. :D
