I just placed an order at Otterknives (germany)

- Otter folding hunting knife with stag handles
- Otter single bladed wharnicliffe with wood handles
- Otter Fahrtenmesser (pathfinders knife) - a fixed blade

I somehow like Otter Messer very much. Watching some of the vids, they seem to be a family-like company. :)

i just ordered a sak classic in green alox

i love having the classic on my keyring, but the scales keeping popping off (although they are simple to pop back in) its already cost me the toothpick
so i gonna order the alox model, probably put the tweezers in my wallet and give the cellidor model to my wife to open mail/packages...its my only knife she isnt scared of :D

Hi Andi

I've been looking at Otter knives too. I'd be really interested in your feedback on those knives when they arrive:)

Sam

Sam, no Problem! I´ve got an email from Otter knives - the knives are already shipped :)

As soon, as possible I gonna tell you my first impressions

well,did you dye it?
i searched high and low for a clean natural bone at the time.
sure do miss all my knives...
glad to see you guys are buying stuff to at least look at though.
jd

Finally gave in to the allure of the Case mini copperlock and picked up the natural bone listed here by jdracing. This is the third Case knife he has supplied me. One of these days I'm just going to drive over to his house and see what all treasures he has.

jd said to me in one of our email messages today how much he liked the look of the natural bone. I was thinking about trying another dye job on this one, since my mini copperhead turned out to my satisfaction. I'll wait to see it in person before I decide.

so my green alox classic arrived today
and i LOVE IT

it immediately went on my keyring and bumped my old black plastic classic (was passed on to the wife, since its about perfect for her needs and she isnt scared of it like my other knives hehe)

this is my new EDC set

and while i know alox models are thinner, i was shocked at just how thin the alox classic is compared to the plastic model, so i took a pic to show just how thin it is

yeah, i am pretty pleased :D
and i gotta thank Carl for turning me onto the classics, they are just too useful!

Just got a Remington barlow rehandled with bone scales by Bob Picklesimer. I also got a Case Bose dogleg jack and a Northfield 72 lockback in a trade. I have a GEC Bullnose sodbuster with black scales on order with Collector Knives, and bought a Schrade 881 on eBay.

Not knife related, but I am picking up my truck this afternoon or Saturday morning, hopefully this afternoon!

Other than pre-orders, I have an AG Russell Spire and a Krack-a-Jack Ole Jack Gunstock ordered.

Well, I have the GEC redneck tool, or whatever they're calling it now, farm tool. Anyway, that's coming in from Mike at Collector Knives, my new drug dealer. I also just bought a Beaver Tail 72 lockback to match my Beaver Tail 73 single blade slipjoint. Topping it all off, I have a Schrade 881 that I won on eBay coming to me.

Now, I have a Case Bose Lanny's Clip on reserve with an online/brick and mortar dealer, and I'm trying to find out now how to pay for it. Either going to sell a kidney or a Sebenza, probably the kidney. I found out I am front in line in reservations. Whew!
