Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

A real beauty, José. How is the action/locking mechanism? I've heard a lot of good things about Fontenille Pataud.

Thank you very much, Vince,
It is in fact an excellent knife, for your clarification I attach information from the manufacturer.
"Technique: Forged bee spring. This one is chiseled by hand (with a file: unique piece) and polished shiny inside.
Rear pump blade locking system (lock-back). Blade stop guaranteeing you a very long-lasting cutting edge since, unlike ordinary Laguiole knives, it does not hit the bottom of the knife when closing."

I agree with you 100% on your thoughts on your Laguiole. I couldn't be happier with my FP. Congrats!

I've been wanting to try out a Case Copperlock for awhile now and I happened to come across this online.

A Case Mini Copperlock with CV steel and natural bone covers. I think it looks pretty slick! Can't wait. :)

Same. We’re both pushovers.

haha, you too? i saw it the other week and kept deliberating. i saw the funny patch on the knife, and then the etch, and people were saying the shield was only glued. but in the end, ill wait and see mine

I have the same reservations, but the size of the knife, the wood, and the overall look have me intrigued enough to try it out. I couldn't get into the GEC #14, and the fact that this one is between the #14 and #15 in size makes me curious to try it in hand. Plus, who doesn't like a sunken joint?

agreed, what sold me in the end, was Eric's comment about the difference in the blade. the older variations of the csc boys knives sort of had the blade at an almost comical proportion to me. also, ive went on and on in discussion with him before about aspect ratios and how the nail nick was cut. it will be interesting to see them next to these and the 14s, 15s. I almost bought two of the moore makers the other week. one to save and one to polish off that etch and pocket.
