Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Poor choice of words, sorry. While the 92 definitely has its uses, I was more trying to say that the spear point blade shape just isn't for me as much as a clip point. I like the 92 well enough and carry it occasionally, but the traditional that is in my pocket most is a 93 in oily creek bone.

Yours is a beauty for sure. If mine is anything like that I think I will be happy with it. I'll be sure to post pics in the other thread when it shows up. Thanks!
No, I understand... sorry if it sounded like I was disagreeing with you. I was just prefacing my comment with that, because I find that I like clip blades more now than I did a year ago. I used to prefer spears almost exclusively, but apparently, tastes change.... who knew? :D Actually, the 44 is in my pocket today, even though it's not "wooden wednesday" yet..... along with my #12 toothpick, and the Case tribal lock. I have eclectic tastes....

View attachment 1349091 Hi guys . I came across some marbles knives the other day a sowbelly' trapper and saddlehorn . The scales are in black micarta and the blades are D2 . I don't know if they are new to the range or I've been out for a while . But they are at a really good price at the moment . I have ordered the sowbelly' but it's out of stock at the moment and is on back order .Are these knives a new range or have they been out for a while ? Take a look at them I'd like to hear your thoughts. Or if you have one what's the fit and finish on them ? . I will update this once mine has arrived . And give you my thoughts on it

Did your D2 sowbelly ever come? It might not. RR has been doing some limited runs lately that sell out very quickly with no indication when or whether they will return. That appears to be the situation with the 2038 work knife. The RR sowbelly in green micarta is also pretty scarce. That is a very nice knife, as is the Marbles D2.

Both the green micarta and d2 sowbelly knives appear to be in stock at this time. What do you mean by scarce?

Hi Henry . I did receive mine thanks . It was back on stock the next day and I received it two days later . I checked the website for the other two in the range and there showing out of stock now . Bearing in mind I'm in the UK I haven't see any problems with RR .

By scarce, I mean after I bought both of my latest sowbellies, I went looking for more and didn’t find any. If the stocks replenish, then I guess they aren’t scarce any more. I have seen other RR models go extinct.

Some serious jigging on that bone. That's prettier than the jack you sold, for sure.
Thank you. Dean had a black one up for sale a while back but because of funds I hesitated and it was gone. I actually won this one in a raffle. He just released a video of his latest. It's the same
as this but with a fish shield and jimping on the blade to make it a fish knife.
Sending you a message.
