I asked about that and Tinus said a very strong epoxy was used to hold the coat on. He said he has not had any problems yet. A very old and stubborn man like me.
The liners are 1/8 inch N690 under 2 layers of micarta.View attachment 1933421
Now I'm bothered by no pins....not really, I like the clean look for a change. 😁

Is that one on the bottom sanguinata horn? All of them look great, but I especially like the fibrous pattern on that horn
It is Kudu horn. One of my favorites too.
I gave a friend one with giraffe bone which is really sweet. He will probably show it when it arrives.

Nice
I just checked and they're sold out.
I found their delivery estimates interesting (sometimes it doesn't take much  )

Estimated delivery time:
  • USA – 3-4 weeks
  • Canada – 4-6 weeks
  • Europe – 3-4 weeks
  • Asia – 3-4 weeks
  • Australia – 2-3 months
It takes as much time to get delivered in Europe, as it does to get to the USA or Asia 😲 Canada takes a couple of weeks longer 🤔 And holy cow, what's going on with Australia? o_O

Sorry that you missed out buddy, I think they only made a hundred ☹️ Yeah, Australia and New Zealand are the end of the line! 😁👍

After handling my Case smooth antique bone Barlow and Tribal Lock for some pic posting, I noticed the new Small Swell Center Jack is still available in the smooth antique bone. So one is on the way now.

I wish I knew you. Then I would say....at least your mother would still love you, knowing you bought that. 😁
I don't remember seeing that one in the Army.
My dad was an Electric Lineman as long as I can remember and he Always carried a fixed blade hawkbill knife on a lanyard hanging on his tool belt for stripping wire . They also called them Pruners and Linoleum knives . I have Dad's old knife around here somewhere and never use it .
Jiki Jiki : That is a very useful knife right there . I myself have never seen one just like that .Who was the maker ???

Harry
