If it hasn't gassed out in 80 or 90 years, then it's probably safe.
 
Yep, I've only heard of one other butter and molasses outgassing before, the rest just shrunk a little at the bolsters.
 
After having sworn "No more pocket knives!"... I have a gently used Northfield #48 Dogleg Trapper in Cocobolo on the way. Oh well I made it 6 weeks without picking up another knife! Lol

Having strayed from the "Peanut" path i bought a CV Chestnut Bone a week or so ago and today i ordered an Amber Bone cos they are so darn pretty plus a CV Yellow cos they are so workman like, i think the drought is over...
 
A Pemberton.

There's something about this little knife. I had a single blade Buffalo Horn and sold it to a forum member because I thought I wanted a double blade model. I bought a double blade in bone and didn't care for it so I sold to to another forum member.

I saw this one in Black Olive Bone and just had to have it.

hehe i am silly.

I have my black pioneer still coming in (still no expected date yet)
and tonight, in a moment of weakness (LOL) i just ordered a buck trapper 382. I really enjoy mini-trappers, i like bucks stainless (although this is 420J2 instead of 420HC) and nice classy wooden handles, i betting the buck arrives alot sooner than the pioneer :P
