Whatcha got on order ?

I've been wanting a small very thin " EDC " mustache comb for a long time but could never really find anything that fit the bill.
I just came across this thing and it seems like it just may fit the bill.

They say it's about the size of a large paperclip so it should carry extremely well, but it could possibly prove too small to be useful.
I also threw in one of their micro forks just to take full advantage of the $5 shipping.
Kent moustache comb is a good one!

I just ordered 4 Polartec silkweight baselayer shirts from Army surplus world.
I've been wearing the pants for the past few years and they're great.
They're warm , comfortable, and don't shrink up in the wash.

It's funny that for a few years I've been looking for some long sleeve undershirts that had a long enough torso to stay tucked in, and it just never dawned on me that they make shirts to go with the pants until I saw them in an email I got from ASW today.

New cable modem. The cable provider is getting ready to discontinue support for DOCSIS 3.0 and only use DOCSIS 3.1. For the last couple of years they have supported both. (In the long term, it is MUCH less expensive to own your own modem than to rent one from the cable company.)

I ordered a pair of canoe sole moccasins from Footwear by footskins out of Minnesota.

I bought my dad a pair of them in their sequoia cowhide this past Christmas and I was so impressed that I knew I needed to get myself a pair eventually.
my other footskins moccasins are made from extremely supple leathers that while plenty thick and certainly extremely comfortable just don't really give that impression of nice leather and it's something I missed with them.

I went with the chocolate brown color.

my sheepskin moccasin are so comfortable they feel like leather socks and I often forget to take them off at night, I really do love them but since my big toes are wearing through the shearling inside I decided to get a pair of these.
Those will still be my first thing in the morning...etc slippers until the shearling goes completely bald inside and these will be my more durable house shoes which shouldn't be too snug to wear with my boot socks still on.
That was the only major thing I truly disliked about my shearling sheepskin slippers, I had to take my socks off.

I love this companies products, but it's so frustrating that they have some great leathers then some mediocre leathers and some stuff is only available in the mediocre leathers.

I ordered a Peak solutions Eiger flashlight a week ago and it just shipped.
It didn't take as long as I expected, since they are made to order.

Most of the current mini tool boxes that are popular lately have seemed or proven pretty impractical and useless to me because they don't make efficient use of space, this one with 5 drawers seems like it might be a little more practical so for $44 I decided to try one out.

Another pair of AA101 jeans from all American clothing company , after getting my first pair and loving them it's hard to wear any of the cheap wranglers I used to buy.
I was going to buy a pair directly from Diamond Gusset jeans last week, but they were having a sale and my size was sold out so I went with another pair of the rebrands through A.A.C.co who it turns out was also having a sale.

I do like they are heavier 15oz jeans material. I don't like those are rivetless and look kinda floppy, loose and baggy in a bad way in their pics.

i prefer classic rivets for strength and looks.....but i see hipsters are upset on rivets due to recycling jeans and rivets being in the way. also claims of rivets not needed anymore for strength.

The carpenter jeans are definitely extra wide in the legs, but the classic jeans do shrink up a bit in the wash and aren't so bad. Plus I have started to roll the cuffs up a bit which eliminates a lot of that baggy look as well.

I was also surprised about the lack of rivets, but they do use bar tack stitching which accomplishes the same thing.
I think one of the main reasons for rivets may be because they're faster than bar tack stitching.

By the way,I also have a pair of their Khaki " heritage canvas pants " which I was surprised to find were different than the jeans.
They don't have the Diamond Gusset which isn't something I've really noticed, the legs are a slightly slimmer fit, and they have rivets instead of bar tack stitching.
The pockets are also a bit tighter acess, but they still have nice heavy duty pocket bags.
As near as I can tell they're made by American giant in LA, but being a one time special order only available in one color they're able to sell them for $70 less.
I like them, but no way would I pay $150 to get a pair in a different color.
They're good pants but not $150 good.

I'm not really a gamer, but I have a ps2 and an old N64 from my childhood that I enjoy playing occasionally.

Anyways I needed a couple new controllers for my ps2 so I bought those and a copy of a game I used to have off of Ebay.
