Whatcha got on order ?

Christmas gifts.
A book for my mom

Another Olight I1r2 pro for my grandmother because she lost hers and it was her absolute favorite flashlight .
Some paracord and hardware to make my signature dual barrel snap neck lanyard for it.

And a PJ set for each of my brothers.
One is a Harry Potter fan, the other a pokeman fan so I bought accordingly.

I also threw in another I3e with my Olight order, for the discounted price I can always find somebody who will put it to good use.

I ordered my mom's husband a belt for Christmas from mainstreet forge , I went with their foreman model.

So far I only have experience with their wallets which I have been happy with as have the 4 people I bought their wallets for a couple years ago, so I figure they'd be a good bet for a decent quality American made belt that won't break the bank.
They don't list the leather thickness for their belts, but it looks to be at least an 8-9oz leather so it should last him a good few years I hope.

Sigh. Didn't need it, but I had an electrician come out and wire up a 220 line for me the other day; and he had a really cool pair of Klein combination pliers/wire stripper/ Crimper/screw cutter. I "lusted after them in my heart" as soon as I saw them. Had to go to the big box hardware store later and "happened" to pass by the electrical tool aisle. So now I have a new "Hybrid Pliers with Crimper and Wire Stripper".

I ordered my uncle some American made hooks / picks from Tekton ( I've been very happy with mine )
instead of ordering a 9pc set I went with the 5pc set and added 2 others that I think he'll use.

I also ordered a bunch of tools from HJE.
I went to order a canvas and leather tool roll for my cousin, and as usual I can't help but browse and find a bunch of other tools I want because they always have so many great things I'd never know about otherwise.

I found the tool roll I was looking for.
A pair of Vessel power grip screwdrivers I wanted to try out
A Jawco 1/4 dr flex extension for my 14/dr kit
A pair of HJE branded 5/16 screwdrivers to gift
An HJE branded 6in1 driver because they had it in orange
Another R.Murphy sheeps foot knife
And they had these 1945 dated WW2 bomb tethers for cheap so I ordered a few because I know my uncle and cousin would think they were cool.

New gigabit switch for my home network. This one has 8 ports instead of 5. Nothing wrong with the old one other than it only had 5 ports and was maxed out.

Since I was a teenager I've always carried a mini tape measure in my watch pocket, these days my favorite is the Walso little pal, and I just found myself another better condition example on Ebay which I was looking for because my current one is a little rough.

they're pretty small at 1.5" across and 1/2" thick, but unlike most extra compact keychain tapes with a wimpy 1/4 blade these are 3/8 with a proper curve to keep them rigid.

You've always got some interesting little rabbit holes in terms of kit.

I ordered myself a merino wool scarf from a shop that sells on Etsy.

I have a couple scarves around but at 36" long and fairly thin they're barely adequate, I was looking for something significantly longer and this one is 7"×74"×1/4" which should do nicely.

I ordered this 8 pocket tool pouch and a belt for it from HJE.

It's a bit of a crude industrial type of tool pouch, but the 8oz leather should last quite well and I think it'll suit my needs better than anything I've used so far.

I currently use this small carpenters pouch as my basic home projects tool belt.

I modified it to better suit my needs as much as I could but there aresome issues Inherint to this type of pouch that just can't be solved, and this pouch is definitely going to be better.

I have some ESEE accessories from [ a non-BF knife dealer] for some EESE knives I bought coming.

Edit: Sorry for posting about a non dealer. After I saw that my post had been edited, I eventually found the dealer list of approved mentions.

That is too cool and useful. I'm gonna have to see if I can find myself one.

Make sure you pay attention to the photos, on top of making sure it's got good return.

Here is an older example and a later one.
Notice the gaps, dimples, and how the loose fit allows the mouth to pinch and jam up the lip of the tape.

The later one, No gaps dimples or pinched mouth.
They function better and don't feel chintzy.

Good luck finding a nice example for a reasonable price, not that they're crazy expensive but often more than they should be.
Nice condition is hard to find because you didn't buy one of these unless you needed it and they lived hard lives, most of those advertising freebies were junk drawer bound.

Thanks for the advice and pictures! Knowing what to look for is valuable knowledge!

I found a nice one, but it sold before I pulled the trigger. I'm sure another will come along.

Well, not to be a copy cat, but....

For $9.99 plus shipping, I had to do it. Not quite as nice as yours, but not to shaby.

That one was on my watchlist because it has that 1 spot of rust but the red paint on the grommet is pristine, way to go snatching it up , I bet you'll find it very useful.
I carry mine in my watch pocket, but you could put a little bead chain through the center and put it on your keys or something.
