HRLM = 4" blade length
RMD = 5" blade length

IIRC, they were 3.5" and the SE-only selected 4.5" on the HRLM's. (Or was it 3.5 and 4. Dangit. The thing I miss the most is my, uh, um, where were we?)

But I'm sure (because it's in my hand) the original HRLM was 3.5".

RMD is much bigger in all respects. I just grabbed a S/BP HG55 so I'm good in the mid-size slicer category.

I'll take your word for it, Dennis. All I had to compare to was the original HR vs the Yard Keeper. They have exactly the same blade length. And the Yard Keeper is 4.5 inches. Here's a pic:

I just found out that the shop has my next batch of knives almost finished, so I guess I can spill the beans.

I'm getting RMD's, HRLM, and Rat Shakers in the next few weeks, so if you have been wanting some of the blades that are currently harder to find, just wait and save your money. They are almost here.
