today it's prolly my Manix. I can't find a thing wrong with it. I also love my Buck Mayo TNT...but I would have to tilt in favor of the Manix.

Benchmade 940. Pull back on the axis lock and it "slides" open but still has a no play lock up!

I have to agree wholeheartedly. Mirrors my experience exactly.

l use Cold steel Voyeger series knives. The standard Straight edge with no serations. lt is easy to sharpen tough as hell, and they are cheap. l had to break one of my Voyegers at the costoms desk after returning from a deployment cause l could not see myself giving the knife to someone at the desk. What started as what l thought a easy task turned into a fiasco cause the knife just would not snap. In the end l handed a very bent knife to the man at the desk before boarding the plane. PS, Cold Steel supports the boys in Iraq, and that does it for me!!

This Randall I bought in 1979. The stag was put on to fit my left-hand grip and the sheath is also a lefty. This thing eats deer up! And the false edge on the blade's top will bust a deer pelvis open. I'm getting ready to retire it for another custom this month I hope.

an unfinished and hted knife by Charles Saure. He was my HTing mentor over the phone and when I met him at Blade 2005 he gave me a blade and said..dont finish it.dont sell it.............I aint :)

I've expanded and upgraded my collection a bit and have some new favorites.

Skirmish. I love how it is big and mean, yet still very pretty and elegant. Beauty and beast.

SERE 2000. Good size, great looks, great steel, great clip, great scales... just an all around great knife.

Manix. A tank. I love how the G10 feels (even better than the SERE 2000), and it has great ergonomics.

I have a Large Classic Sebenza on the way as well as an AFCK Axis in D2. I am sure they will be two of my favorites.

Look how my tastes have changed since I first posted. I was more interested in discreet little knives and now I am really into big beefy super knives.

Now it is my Sypderco Centofante C25 with Alu and Kraton because his bladeshape is - for me - nearly perfect for everything, specially for wood-carving. I have both: plane edge and partially serrated.
