^ Great looking knives everyone!

I just finished this one up... the thread locker is drying and it's time for more pics.

Notes...

The above Framelock took me about 30 hours to make and is one of a kind. I did a two tone ano on the Ti frames which color shifts depending on the angle. The construction is done with double dowel pins and is very tight even with no screws yet pops right together for assembly. Every single screw and bit of hardware has been sized and individually finished.

Check out the Seco and Wiha drivers, they are great. I'm also really liking the vibra-tite to keep my screws from loosening and the vibra-tite keeps on working after a screw has been adjusted unlike loctite.

Great blade Daniel! So are you using washers instead of bearings for the blade pivot?
Again awesome blade!

Thanks everyone! I like the work in progress idea, I usually post snippets of my work on my subforum here but often get carried away with my work and forget about pics.

I've been meaning to do a thread on lock geometry and fine tuning foiders... lock release, detent, etc. This forum has helped me a ton and it is always fun to contribute.

That would be awesome. I'm planning my first liner lock and the material is on the way. I'm leery about doing the lock and getting it right.

Disaster struck last night. Actually I let the edge get way to thin. The edge measures about .003" in the center of the break.

Anyone know of a way to fix this or repurpose it? Even with pink G10 scales?

Make it into a very stubby sheeps foot, would be a great shop knife! or whittler then

Thanks Gary. That's about what I did. Thursday night I ground the edge back and rounded the tip off a little more so the tip isn't as pointy but it still is more of a Wharncliffe than a Sheeps Foot. I also took a tiny bit off the bottom of the bolsters so it looks more normal. The edge is still to thin in that spot so I can't sell it to the lady who ordered a pink Wharncliffe but my brother and his co-workers at their nuclear power plant will use it for a shop knife. This morning I ground the bevels for another Pink Lady as I've been calling it for the lady who ordered this one. The lady who ordered this one is my third customer and she's one of my brothers co-workers. They say these Wharncliffe knives I made for them will strip multi-conductor cable better than a box cutter since they are thin and tempered hard but I got this one too thin!

BTW: Many thanks Gary for your stickies over in Sheaths and Such. I've made several sheaths like the ones you make and I'll most likely make one for my Kershaw Leek sometime soon cause it doesn't stay clipped to my pocket like it should.

Nice sir! very cool I bet it's a great cutter! even in pink! and glad you were able to get something from the tutorials too .
