Dug this old steel table out of the brush. Got it moved into the shop today.

Need to get some better pictures but this is my fourth knife. Really made myself slow down and pay attention on this one. Pretty pleased with it.

That's a nice knife... If your ever interested in selling it; please contact me. Very nice job making that!

Wow thank you very much for the vote of confidence! This is a gift for my mother in law. I've been contemplating buying a maker's membership on here to possibly sell a few when I got good enough. Giving them away doesn't cover much cost lol.

Hey guys, its very bad form to talk about buying and selling outside of the selling subs, and its VERY bad to talk about buying and selling if you are not of at least a knife maker level membership.

Yes sir I tried to make it clear that it was not for sale and I wouldn't sell any until I thought my work was good enough and had the maker's membership. Just wanted to thank him for the kind words. Maybe I should have worded it differently. My apologies.

nice grind
is that a sharpening cut out near the plunge line?

Yep,

I hate how it looks when sharpened near the plunge and since this is actually going into the field it will be easier to get it sharpened without that funky transition.

You could always gift it to me instead.... I promise to take GREAT Care of it, and a review with pics?! :P

Giving mother in laws that nice a knife as a gift?? You either messed up bad or are after huge brownie points?! I'll cherish it more than she will I SWEAR! :)

Finally got this one done per request. 8 7/8" OAL spear point hunter in 1095, Geenberg's Cocobolo handle, withe sway back leading into the gut hook. Odds are against me doing this again anytime soon, but it's sharp as can be and not a bad looker overall.

I kinda do something similar, I use a permanent magnet from an old hard drive inside a heavy plastic bag, that gizmo is far better!!!
